Lovely to see you maytaurus and thanks for all those links. Most of them lead to other things, so guess where the last couple of hours have gone.0

Hi everyone. After a hectic few weeks I just couldn't get motivated to do very much yesterday so just spent the day chilling out. I have just tackled the mountain of ironing that has been trying to catch my eye all week, though, so I think I'm up and running again!
Maytaurus - lovely to hear from you. I hope you a feeling a little better today. Thanks for some lovely links - I shall look at them at leisure this afternoon; if I look now, I'll do what Kinsey has been doing for the last couple of hours! At least I've been warned! Your squares are beautiful - such lovely colours and expert crocheting! Talking of posting photos, I really must post the pics I've taken of all the squares I've done so far. I think I'll try and get super-organised this week - easily said than done, with a DH cementing in holes in the wall almost above my head as I type!
I tried to work on a square last night but even that defeated me - I just seemed to have no energy. I feel much more up for it now, though, so will give it another go this evening.
Jean - if you manage to log on, I hope your trip is going well.
ISOM and Shez - thinking about you and your mums.
Well, it still seems so quiet without DS2 and his girls here. I can't believe how quickly the week disappeared as it always does when you're really enjoying yourself.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great bank holiday Monday. Ours was on Saturday, with another one this Saturday, one the following Thursday, and another on the 24th! Four in one month, which the French government are trying to stop - I don't think they'll succeed!
See you all later.
KathyXX
BY the way, I will do the update tomorrow morning! Thanks for all your totals.KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
Squares: 11, Animal blankets: 20 -
Good Morning to one and all-- So glad to hear the Mums are feeling a bit better. It is such a worry!
May - Lovely squares - Hope you have a strong day today
Kinsey - Hope you enjoyed looking at all the links
Kathy Hope you are soon up to full strength-- I think it must be a little bit of Father Time catching up with us , as it took me a couple of days to feel recharged after our visitors in Spain this winter.
Well sky dive was postponed so we just travelled up to North Devon to spend a couple of days with DS and DDIL. We are going to have a lovely walk along Saunton Sands but I am sure we will get some more hooking done later to finish the 2 blankets with the random squares.
Mrs M -- Your sqaures are next in the frame for operation Stitch Up. !!!

:wave:Hello everyone, hope you`re all well and hugs to the poorly Mums.
Been a busy bee here today. Neighbour 2 doors up came round with a half tray of Nasturtium seedlings ` for your hanging baskets` Didn`t have the heart to tell him I wasn`t going to bother with them this yearGot two for the price of one - lots of Pansy seedlings in the tray as well - so this morning I pricked them all out into cells and pots to grow on a bit before deciding where to put them. 98 Nasturtiums and 13 dozen Pansies. It was nice and warm in the greenhouse and brought back lovely memories of past years with Jim, (mixed in with just a few tears, although not many) pottering about and deciding what to grow. Just have to remember to look after the blinkin` things now or questions will be asked !!!!
Suppose I`ll have to go and get some more compost to fill the baskets as well. Ah well something else to keep me occupied I suppose.
Been left in charge of a grumpy little man for a while. He`s got a sore tum so lots of dirty nappies. Not sure if it`s the stuff the GP prescribed which is causing probs at that end but it seems to be helping the vomiting. Get one thing sorted and land with another :rotfl:.
Hopefully there will be some wooly stuff done tonight,I`ve got a couple of cardies to sew up for his nibs for bedtimes, to keep him cosy.
Have a good evening everyone.

sorry you got sucked in to the abyss re the links!! :rotfl:
I haven't been crocheting for very long as you know, but I really enjoy it now
I just wish I was faster
Does anyone else find that a '10 minute preemie hat' or a '2 hour jumper' takes at 2 or 3 times longer or is it really just me?:rotfl::eek::rotfl::eek:
OOOOOOOh dpixie
good luck with the sewing up!
I try to do it as I go along now (even tho it's soooooo hard to resist starting something new!)
I think it's yucky when you have to do loads of it at the same time!
mioliere
Glad you managed to resist the temptation to delve Kathy :rotfl:
