Hi all - just dropping in from the land of thick heads and runny noses. I keep waking up feeling as if I'm getting better but, as the day goes on, I start to wilt, so this cold is not going to shift as easily as I'd like. I'm NOT complaining though, because it's only a cold and I'm usually fit and well; how Maytaurus and others who have long term illnesses cope, I don't know - I'm full of admiration for anyone who lives with illness and pain.

Maytaurus - I hope today is a better day for you. Thanks for all those yarn links yesterday.

Mrs Moneypenny - your photos are stunning; what fantastic work.

Shaz - how horrid for you and your Dad. Hope you got all the paint off.

Chalky - I'm so glad you're having a wonderful time with DD, and that your making the most of having her with you. The week will be over all too soon.

Well, yesterday I did manage to crochet one of a pair of sports booties from a pattern I posted a link to the other day, and I'm thrilled to bits with how it's turned out. When I've made the second one, I'll post a photo. I wanted something small to make while my head is not concentrating too well, and poppies and the booties fitted the bill. I shall get the other one done today, hopefully. Then I must plod on with DGS's ripple blanket.

Well, I'm off for another cuppa so I'll catch up with you all later.
