TightAS - I am beginning to worry, my anniversary is later on this month and the last date that DH took me on was TO REGISTER WITH THE QUACK in the village - he has a fantastic success rate with death, not so great with treating the living tho' and you saying you were heading for a funeral on Friday has made me wonder just what he might come up with for the big day! Regardless, I hope you have a wonderful day.
MAYTAURUS evil link to Regretsy off to find him a pressie......might just be lucky too judging by what I saw briefly when I clicked the link.. ha ha are you sure we didn't go on the same "get you better/well course" the same ingredients I use!

Hi everyone - I'm still in the land of the sniffles and hot toddies, but feeling less fragile today so, hopefully, the cold it on its way out! Thank you all for your kind thoughts and wishes.
Thanks to Jean for taking care of the updates this week, too; I'm really thankful to you. It rained all night here, but is bright and sunny at the moment. Don't think it will last, though!
Well, I tried to crochet last night but couldn't stay awake. I'm hoping I can at least get some more poppies done today.
May - that Regretsy is great, isn't it? Thanks for the link, and for the handbag pattern - I really like that one. It would make a lovely pressie.
Well, off for another hot drink, I think.

:rotfl:Afternoon everyone :hello:
Just had lunch and thought I'd pop my head round the door see what's going on
Had a good night at my friends we drank a whole bottle and a bit....a big bit
of Echo Falls Rose, and very nice it was to, took my ripple blanket with me, and I have no idea why but I seem to have lost the ripples on the last couple of rows, I just worked straight also forgot to change colour:o :rotfl::rotfl:
Kathy - hope you feel better today
May - regretsy made me laugh, so did the hat surely no-one would wear one of those. My UFO bag means "un-finished objects bag" my younger DS called it that she is a patchworker and thats what her group call them:D
Echinacea is my all time stand by, its called Natures Antibiotic in a book I have called The Green Witch, but would'nt you know it I ran out before I went away and have'nt bought any more yet, thats about right for me lately:rolleyes:
Jean - thanks for the PM, it all sounds so complicated I never was any good at those
mrs-m - love the pics, just about to put my Pudsey on, well I will when I find the camera
ISOM - thanks for the link, think I'll have a go at one of them for Shelley's stall
Tight as - wow your OH certainly knows how to show a girl a good time:rolleyes: :rotfl:
Better go fetch the washing in looks a bit murky out there, then I am going to rip out the last few rows of the ripple blankie.
