Hi Sunaddict:wave:. Glad to see your still around! Yes it is the same BP but a new and improved version!!!
I have been thinking about how I have accumaleted so much debt and yet have nothing to show for it and couldn't see where I had spent all this money untill last night when I was sorting out my book/cd/dvd cupboard and done a quick mental calculation and realised that I have spent aprox £900 on BOOKS! with all the cds and dvds that we have that must account for at least another £1k. Clothes, i dont even bother to open the wardrobe door as I cant fit anything in there so I keep my clothes folded up on the spare bed! This will proberbly account for another £3k, throw in the odd holiday, over indulgent xmas presents for people, the odd tesco shop at the end of the month and there is the £13k. So basically I have squandered £13k without realising where it has even gone!
Enough now, anyway spends for today - £3.40 on bus fares.
took packed lunch with me so no spend there. Took £5 out of my shopping money as I needed loo rolls and milk. Here is another revelation, Tesco has not been my friend, tesco has been luring me in there with the promise of clubcard points, well clubcard vouchers are not going to pay my debt but shopping around in places like Iceland, netto , aldi will help me reduce my food bill by £50 each month. So my learn for today is to stop being loyal to Tesco.
Right I am going to catch up on some diarys and then I'm off to the gym tonight for one of my fave classes.

I also think if you have a decent greengrocer or butcher, you can get decent stuff cheaper than in supermarkets and the quality is better.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

I managed to significantly cut down my grocery spending by shopping around. I go to Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Aldi, Iceland and Wilko to pick out the best bargains.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I do have a decent butchers near by and with the recent talk of cloned meat being in the food chain I am seriously considering just buying organic and cutting back on the amount that we eat. I find markets are good value for fruit and veg ect but from now on I'm just going to buy as and when I need it as I find that is where most of my wastage comes from, I tend to buy a lot in Tescos which cant be very fresh and I throw loads away esp bannana's which I can't touch once they have started to go brown. I also get lured in by all the exotic fruits ect cos they look nice in my trolly and I think I'm being healthy. Had to get a few bits in tonight after work, just bread, milk and a jar of coffee but i walked to iceland as their milk is cheaper, normally I would of gone straight to tesco and spent about £50 but managed to get away with spending just over £6 for which I got the folowing,
4 pints of semi skimmed milk
2 loaves of 50/50 bread
2 garlic baggettes
1 jar of coffee (kenco)
1 pkt of fox's classic choc bikkys
1 six pkt of monster munch (for lunches)
Also I exchanged my euros today, I actually had 35 euro so I got just over £25 for it so I paid for the shopping with this to help my food budget last a little longer the rest will help me get through the rest of the month till I get paid again (2 weeks today)
I have asked my mum if I can borrow her bread maker to see if its something I could do on a regular basis, if I think its something I would use regularly I may invest in one.
need to list my dvd's with music magpie, I can't wait to make my first £62, I am planning on doing a car boot next sunday so that should make me my first £62 quite easily!

ME an Inspiration:j I've never been called that before, really its thanks to all the little hints and tips i've been picking up on here, I find that if I don't regulaly come on here I loose my way big time, at least when i'm doing this my goal is at the forefront of my mind at all times.
Still thinking of ways to make my first £62, today my money saving task is to list all my cd's on music magpie and then I am going to start looking for things for my car boot sale next week and put them aside so I'm not in a mad panic the night before. Another challenge that i have picked up from memory girls thread is the 100 day challenge, pick a couple of things that you would like to achieve in 100 days, so far I have come up with the following.
Complete re-decoration of hallway and stairs
Complete headboard that I started making 2 years ago and install
completely de-clutter house starting 1 room at a time
Lose my last stone.
Thinking that this challenge will start today and finish 14th nov!
So tasks for today are - eat healthily and loose 2lbs this week
cd listing and hunt for boot sale stuff
1 hour in gym later.

Right, just started listing my cd's on music magpie all set to make myself at least £25 and to my horror they are only prepared to give me 30p for each cd! no way i would rather give them away. I will put them in my boot sale box instead.cc & o/d debts 4/2/11 - 12209.

BP, have you checked on Amazon. If you have some unusual stuff I always find Amazon a little better than ebay and others.DC.

No not unusual just the usual i'm afraid so they have gone in my car boot box! I have filled to medium box's from my book and cd cupboard of stuff i'll never read or listen to again and also have another box full of unwanted xmas/birthday gifts. i havn't even started yet, i reckon on having enough stuff for at least 5 boot sales, so that should get me at least £500 i hope.
Stuff for today, 40 minutes in gym, usually go for at least an hour but this was my 4th visit this week so i felt i could take it easy today.
Small shop for some top up bits and bobs so i now only have £3.50 left in the food budget which i will use for milk/bread ect. thinking £150 could defo last me 4 weeks now, wish i hadn't spent so much in the first week.
Made some white choc chip muffins this afternoon and they look as good as any shop bought, havn't tasted them yet but when I licked the bowl the mixture tasted fab so they should be ok!
Making roast chicken/potatoes for dinner tonight, OH has been busy building me some raised planters in the garden and they look great. nothing exciting happening tonight, work tommorrow and then only 4 days and i'm off for 2 weeks:jcc & o/d debts 4/2/11 - 12209.
