I got my gift card sent to me from Leeds HoF (they didn't have any left when I went in), only on non sale items but I'm still quite excited to spent it!0

it just all depends on who serves uI was told Sat that it can only be used in the home department on non sale items. I spotted the Christmas items in the homewear dept - only a few items and got the gingerbread man mug, asked about the £5 teddybear but was told cant use it for that.
I shall use my 2nd voucher for one of the Christmas mugs I reckon.
My daughter got a christmas bear for £5 using the voucher
My sis in law used hers on sale Christy towels
I went and she ssid I couldnt get sale items
so depends
also I think its gonna be hit and miss on using these vouchers after 18th October..even though in manchester they had no gift cards
Sis in law said there was loads of gift cards in Birkenhead store..0 -
New House of Frazer voucher available this weekend.
Anyone know if there will be an 'Online' version too?House of Fraser £5 gift voucher with newspaper
Newspaper-based voucher
Get a free £5 gift voucher to spend in store at House of Fraser. Just buy The Telegraph on Sat 24 (for £1.80) or Sun 25 Oct (for £1.90), cut out the voucher found inside and bring it to a House of Fraser till before Mon 9 Nov to get it.
Unlike the previous HoF online offer, this voucher's valid throughout the store, not just in the home department. There's a max. of one gift voucher per transaction, and you won’t get change for purchases under £5.
This promotion isn't valid with other offers, excludes electricals and is subject to availability. The offer’s only available in store. A €5 gift voucher will be given in return for the newspaper voucher in HoF Dundrum.
The card isn’t valid in Outlet stores. Find your nearest House of Fraser or share your bargains on the Free £5 House of Fraser gift voucher forum discussion.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

Same happened to me on the 16th, the "lovely" shop assistant Victoria sent me straight away to talk to Leon - the manager. Both useless and not helpful at all.0 -

I thought this was a real con. I took in my voucher to the Manchester store, was told they didn't have any gift cards but could use it against a purchase. I scoured the Home Department for ages but almost everything I found was already on special offer as they have a sale on. The only thing I found that wasn't on offer that I wanted were some jars of sweets...when I took these to the counter I was told they were 'confectionary' and didn't count as 'home goods'. I was reminded of the Monty Python cheese shop sketch where no matter what cheese Michael Palin asked for, there wasn't any. I threw away my 'free £5' voucher in the end, what a wasted trip that was. Don't think I'll bother with this new offer, especially as you have to pay to get the likely-to-be-worthless voucher in the first place.
Oh, nearly forgot to mention, the assistant offered to put a saucepan I wanted through at the non-sale price so I could use my voucher...of course that would end up costing more anyway so thanks but no thanks. Gah.0 -
i hope there is a online version!0
