Ours was ivory and chocolate brown with bits of gold. Everyone commented on how gorgeous it was! The men had dark brown suits with tan shoes and they looked mint!
I've never been into pastel colours really so if I hadn't have had brown, it would have either been black or a dark olive green colour. Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

We had red and yellow
. And white. I wore a red skirt and yellow top with a white suit jacket on top, red and yellow feathers in my hair and red strappy sandals. My bridesmaid wore a red dress with a yellow feather fascinator. Himself and his best man wore full kilt rigout, it was all muted so it didn't clash.

My H2B says I have too many colours in my scheme but I think it will work. The bridesmaids dresses will be darkish green (like emerald or peridot. Me and 2 of my bridesmaids love green) and there'll be hopefully same colour organza runner on my tables and ivy around the posts to match the dresses. But flowers will be vivid red and yellow. Inspiration kind of comes from poppy fields and also of my love of bright colours.
Do you think it would work? It does in my head...
Why not do a mood board on one of the photo websites?0 -
Ours will be based around OH's kilt, so as that's red, it will probably be ivory, red & black.0

Go on google images and type in wedding and your colours, save them onto your computer then put them altogether
I'll have a go if you tell me your exact ideas and colours of the following dress, bridesmaid dresses, OH suit, flowers, favours etc:heart2: 'Tied the Knot' Saturday 9th October 2010 :heart2::blushing: Member of Diet Club October 2010 Brides and Grooms :blushing:Starting Weight: 14 stone 10.8lbsCurrent Weight: 13 stone 2lbsTotal loss: 21.8lbs :j0 -
