I think we have ours but my Dad and MOH are being pains in the !!!!!!!

The moment DP decided that we'd been engaged long enough and it was time to set a date we decided on a colour scheme (Wrong I know, everyone keeps telling "You can't decide on your colour until you have your dress" grrrrr :rolleyes: )

We are having Chocolate Brown and Orange :drool: and believe me I WILL get my own way mwahahaha

My H2B says I have too many colours in my scheme but I think it will work. The bridesmaids dresses will be darkish green (like emerald or peridot. Me and 2 of my bridesmaids love green) and there'll be hopefully same colour organza runner on my tables and ivy around the posts to match the dresses. But flowers will be vivid red and yellow. Inspiration kind of comes from poppy fields and also of my love of bright colours.
Do you think it would work? It does in my head...

hi ya we had orange and black and the photographer just brought our photos last night and the colours are stunning he couldnt compliment the colours enough he was amazed by them and how vivid they were , everyone complimented on the orange , but thats why we chose them so ppl would remember them and they did xx

My sister got married on the 24th and her scheme was black and white, it was amazing, everybody loved it. She had a white satin dress with black beaded detail down the back, we (the 3 bridesmaids) were wearing Monsoon Suki cocktail dresses, white with black polkadot. My son was the page boy he and the men in the wedding party were wearing white shirts and black kilts, my son (2yrs) was wearing black and white Vans trainers (he looked very cute and cool).
The tables had black candle holders, black and white alternate napkins and black bows on white chair covers, and of course the cake was white with black ribbon. It was totally stunning.

Im getting married next year and nervous about what to go for as it will be hard to live up to hers lol

Mine is dark pink ad ivory, im looking at a box in the corner of my room which is full of pink and ivory ribbons, decs, candles, tablecloths etc etc lol.
