Help with Belkin Wireless please.

I have just bought a new pc tower and have reinstalled my Belkin Wireless to it. The wireless is showing as connected, and I did get online when my pc was connected to the wireless during setup.
My laptop is working perfectly with the woreless connection. But my pc can't get online. I have called Belking CS who went through it all with me ....set up etc, and was then told it was a TCP IP stack settings problem....and it needs to be reset.
Can anybody please tell me what this is and how I fix the problem.
Many thanks for any help!!:D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Have you tried re setting the wireless box by pressing reset button on back of box. Not sure if that's what they mean. I had to do this after I re-formatted. BEWARE you do lose all your wireless settings so need to re set your security etc.

How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in Windows XP.

In short: click Start - All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt. In the Command Prompt window that has just opened enter:

    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

To test that the TCP/IP stack is now working enter the following command in the same window:

    ping 127.0.0.1

    You should see 4 replies.

If your internet still isn't working, right-click the network connection and click Repair.

Just read your post and read with interest Chippy_mintons reply - this is what i've been doing this afternoon with linksys customer support. I done the repair but it is still not connecting just freezing.

In the command prompt window enter:

    ipconfig/all

    and post the results here.

PS what was the result of the ping 127.0.0.1 command?
