Ive been on the board a while but only just seen these OS threads
I scarily added up the last few months shopping and worked out that I spend £460 per month for 2 adults and a 2 year old and one cat, that sounds a huge amount! It does include some clothes, nappies, until I can persuade my daughter that she really doesnt need them and wine and beer (not that much though!) mind you felt like having a bottle of wine after realising how much i spend!
Im not sure how im going to cut down as already buy some of MrS basics, maybe I should shop at MrA instead but dont really like it in there. Anyway Im going to aim for £400 this month and see how it goes and then keep cutting down a bit further.
Great thread, thank you:beer:0 -
Okay, put me down for £400 for the month for four of us plus two cats, all cleaning products, school lunches and other eatables including probably one takeaway. Not his booze though!!!!
Cupboards are well stocked and freezer is full. My main blip is going to be DD's birthday party though...not quite sure what we're doing for it, but food and cake will be involved somewhere.Val.0 -
