thanks will have alook I have been quoted with a shop on ebay for the dress I like for £160 which i didnt think was bad it includes shipping especialy when it was gonna costme £895 I also found a site www.elliebridal.co.uk there in spain and have some lovely stuff. Where did you get your dress from Double Mummy!

not got dress yet have 2 years to go and a person to lose in body weight!!!!!!!!!

Am not totally decided (its about the only thing not planned yet lol) thinking about ebay as trying to stick to £400 for my total outfit

Make sure before buying abroad the custom charges (spain you should be okay because its in the EU)

how are the reviews for the site you are looking at getting it from

Hi the shop is called waimanman on ebay hope this link works http://stores.ebay.co.uk/waimanman or they have an online shop www.waimanman.com theys seem to have some good reviews and only afew bad or negative ones so still abit unsure but if there isnt any dress on there you like and you have in mind email them with a picture of one and then they will email you back with a quote which is includin work and shipping. Im like you hoping to loose some weight before and maybe then end of next year or beginning of 2012 find or get the dress I want but love looking :rotfl:lol!

im thinking maybe staying in the UK to get mine as I wouldnt be able to bear the wait for one from abroad lol I think my Oh may kill me by the time it arrives (and im not very brave lol)

Interesting about buying dresses online haven't thought of that so will have a nosy. We paid deposit for venue last night eek had butterflies going back so defo the right place for us.

All at a hotel as travelling aobut on the day isn't for us.

Cake toppers have been purchased! Bargain on ebay I'm so excited keep looking at them haha.

so nice to hear other people being excited about this time frame people look at me as if I'm mad as it's so far away! Naaaah!!

Congrats Danielle we're going for September 2012 it's a good month

double mummy that bridal store wants shutting down, they treated you obsceneley(cant spell check am too mad!) it was disgusting what they said to you and how they laughed, theyr not worth the air they breathe!!!
you should go to some more, hopefully you wont come across that attitude again!
that bridal store maybe in berkshire but you will only be measured there and maybe see the dress in a sample but it is made overseas still which says it maybe upto 6 weeks after payment
id be wary of buying from overseas dress makers as more often than not the quality of the materials and sewing isnt even worth the knock down price
if you dont mind 'preloved' where they have got it professionaly cleaned after only wearing for a few hours but sell it on at massivly reduced price you should search those websites for something you might get lucky and find the one!

I am very wary about buying dresses there. I am just looking at styles for now not actually where im going to get it until a bit sooner have been forced into a diet by my MOH/sister so hopefully will be in a better dress fitting size by then lol

wedding not for 25 monthsso will have plenty of time to look around and did go to a loverly dress shop yesterday and they were wonderful and all of the women in there were real women not stick figures which was also nice
