There is one of these in Macclesfield, Cheshire. I had a quick look and the assistant said she would be there to help if I wanted to use it.0

The Coin Out slot that I've been referring is, from my experience, only on the machine which does NOT take coin. It's above the main screen.
However, if you look on the machine which takes in coins, there's an area above the screen which, if you look carefully, can be removed. That's where the Coin Out facility will be for change etc.
So in total there will be 4 "slots"
a) The slot where you pay in coin
b) The slot for foreign coins, ie non sterling, odd looking ones, and coins which look like they've gone through a lot
c) The slot for excess coins (The machine does have a limit for coin, think it's around 1000 pieces afaik)
d) The slot for coin withdrawals/change from bills paid with notes.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion

I've just seen one of these machines in my local branch at Chesterfield, so next stop Natwest.com to begin the process of opening a savings account for all my shrapnel to go into.
They really are a superb idea. Like Coinstar, only free to use.0 -
Anyone seen one of these in Scotland yet?
I was surprised that there doesn't seem to be a machine in the Gordon Street branch of RBS in Glasgow, it's a pretty big central branch.0
