OK, I think we've all gone off on a bit of a tangent so time to post this and get back to the OP, thank you.

  • I can bring it back on topic by saying that the non-buyer must've had an attack of the guilts and offered to pay me the listing fee. It's not much but as a gesture I appreciate it.

That's probably a good outcome all round. I'm pleased it turned out OK in the end.

Agreed - always interesting to read previous posts/threads in cases like this where something about a poster so obviously doesn't ring true!

Reading all this posts does reveal that he's being somewhat economic with the truth.

I think the fact "he" was a "she" with a 15 year old in the first postings suggests who's using the account now.

Good result for the op, have you time to get the tickets re-sold?

Thanks to the spammer for bumping this thread and giving me a right laugh.

Not at their post, but at sammys posts!

What a load of crap they have spouted on here ~ wonder if it was written by a bloke or woman though seeing as sammy has changed gender since they registered here.

Pathetic and I certainly won't have bought from them because I read terms and conditions and if I ever saw any like that I'd run a mile.

I fail to see what the problem is here - "Marta" doesn't want the tickets anymore. So file a NPB with eBay and relist. Why are you forcing him/her to buy the tickets when they don't want them? Yes, when you bid on eBay, it is binding, but it's clear that they won't pay up, so why waste your time and theirs? Just start the NPB thing, and get on with relisting.

Usually, if someone hasn't paid by Paypal within an hour, I relist since 99% of the time they don't want it anymore and most likely bid on multiple auctions to secure the lowest price. It also means I find a genuine bidder quicker. Not rocket science.

p.s. Sorry, having a bad day. If I come across as an !!!!!!!, I apologise.

    An hour~! Blimey, hard seller.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

I think that's a bit of an oxymoron...

    Just a moron I suspect.
