    Got up stupidly early, watched Grand Prix;
    put washing in WM; went back to sleep on the sofa;
    got up, showered and dressed;
    put washing out on the line;
    made huge amount of lentil and home grown butternut squash soup; picked 24 home grown tomatoes;
    cleaned and tidied desk; spoke to dad on the phone and had lunch!

    Lots to do still so

    I've hung 2 loads of washing out and swept the kitchen floor.

    Still not feeling brilliant but hey ho.

    Toots hun hope your tube problems sort themselves out very soon, just what you don't need eh?

    Lady L, hoping your pain has eased and you have had some rest.

    3Tabbycats, yey, love Vegas, we went for our belated honeymoon. Quite worried about exactly what I'll be able to manage to do this time but I'll be quite happy to just sit and watch the world go by there.

    We need some serious decluttering doing, its got out of hand again here.

    Ebay for some, charity shop for others and freecycle for others I think.

    I also absolutely need my hubby to finish fixing the floorboards as I haven't much time to get carpet measured and fitted before we go away.:eek:

    I've also just taken advantage of this offer here from Hot deals and ordered some cheap loft insulation which is another job that will need doing asap.

    Its a great deal so get in quick if you need some. Best to go through IE rather than firefox thouugh for the order form.

    Rosieben - where did you get that hug from? It's so much better than the dodgy threesome ;)

    I cant remember where I got it tbh, but you can copy it if you like :D I upload a few to photobucket every now and then to have a change ;)
    ... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    mrschaos That is awful. I hope your insurance covers the cost.Enjoy the ice cream. Eating it is very MSE:rotfl:

    soappie It sounds like you have attacked the floor with avengence!! (sp?) It is great to get something like that done and finished. A big pat on the back for that is deserved.

    We have had to give up on sanding the beams here because my asthma was so bad. DH is being really good and smoking outside now.

    Greenbee hope your trip is fab. After reading about you last night I dreamt I was going for 2 weeks and I felt really guilty as we have no money!!

    Mudbath loads of hugs and prayers for you DS.

    sexymouse Good luck with the union. I hope you are a member of a good one. Mine abandoned me. I went to the top in the end!
    Great that you have all your planning done but you really shouldn't have to do it on a weekend. Says me who worked a 15 hour day. Make sure you don't end up burnt out!!

    Toots I hope you can get your tube sorted soon. How horrible to wake up wet. Do they work weekends or do you have to wait until Monday?

    rosieben How exciting, new furniture. I love the smell of it. Wierd aren't I?

    Everyone else, hugs, loves etc.

    :j:j:jI have some good news. I wasn't around much last week as I was spending time with DH. He is coming out of his depression and did half a day work for a friend. He is now much more postive about life. Thanks for all your support. I really thought he was down for the long haul this time. It has been about 3 months in all but I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. :j:j:j

    And I have spent hours today on line and have found someone to give us cheaper home insurance. The beggers wouldn't quote because of the age of the house number of claims etc. Now I have found one to save us £35 a month. I also got DH to put a lock on our back door.
    You have no idea how long I have waited for that!!:eek:

    Forgot to say other good news is that our 15 and a half year old dog woke up this morning bright as a button and full of the joys of Spring/Autumn. I honestly thought the end was nigh:(.

    Good news about DH poohbear :)

    Hope Mudbath's son is improving.

    Hope your trip goes well greenbee

    It worries me when you're not coping PenPen, what hope is there for the rest of us! Hope you feel better soon.

    Good wishes to Toots and Lady L.

    I'm sure there was more.......

    I've done two loads of washing, most of it is dry and put away, just a couple of things still finishing off out there.

    Did a roast dinner and also made a sponge and a rhubarb crumble. I've checked in my cooking cupboard and added a few bits to my Asda order for this week so I should have enough to make the christmas cake when the spirit moves...

    That's about it I think.

    Afternoon all

    Had a lazy w/e but decluttered loads of TV stuff :rotfl: Deal, Strictly, Neighbours you get the drift!

    Miss A's swimming lesson has been moved back to 10.30 again so she will be swimming the same time as W. Just wich they had told me before we got to the pool yesterday :mad:

    Homeowork completed for Miss A and half done for W. Has to be in on Wed so plenty of time left.

    Flying not a lot but WM has been on as has DW which has been unloaded.

    Hugs to everyone and appropriate vibes where needed, I don't want to miss anyone out hence the vagueness!

    Sausage, veg and cheese sauce for dinner.
