Tea is cooking, spicy coconut dhal. Dunno what to do with it, spicy tatties, almond rice or onion bajees  I'll maybe do all three and thats me fed for a week :rotfl:
I have got tons of reading to do, so I think I'll settle down with the :footie: on in the background. I may end up having a wee nap as well0 -
Back from the in laws. washed and cleaned out and hoovered the car before lunch, now feeling a bit dopey after a couple of glasses of wine.
Also saw the state of their garage and have offered to take stuff to the tip for them next weekend as we have a couple of bits to go too. Noticed all DH's old subbuteo stuff in there too which we're going to offer to our friends' boys.
Otherwise bot much flying done. DH has informed me we're technically still on hols so no dysoning, though I might manage to S&S the kitchen and bathroom (they need it!). Just tried to phone a friend i've been meaning to catch up with for ages, no answer - typical!
Think I'll go and see what DH is up to.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Woo hooooooo....... Curtains are washed, dried, ironed, hemmed and hung up on my newly sprayed - now black - curtain rail!!! :j :j :j :j
The DR looks like a room we can use again. The desk is another matter, but what a busy weekend!!
We've also washed goodness knows how many loads, and sorted and dispatched all the washing to the relevant children. I've even hung up my clean clothes! *insert fainting smilie!*
Dinner is being cooked by DH, he's doing a version of Nigel Slater's sausage and mustard with pasta, that he did on this week's "simple suppers" We're having it with roasted chicken thighs instead though. Yum.
Ok, off to watch last night's x factor with the children.MMSSB Club Founder Member

It was the 'Challenge Jamie to cook a 3 course meal for a fiver' thread. Its on the hob just now and it is lovely. I'm in the middle of making the Economy Gastronomy Onion Bhajees, but I dont like deep frying, so I'm cooking off the onions with the spices now and I'll finish them in the oven.0 -
It worries me when you're not coping PenPen, what hope is there for the rest of us! Hope you feel better soon.
Awwwwwwwwwwww bless you :A
I've been out for a very lovely lunch. I was telling my friend that I've booked a couple of nights in Liverpool (Adelphi hotel, 2 nights B&B for 3 of us, £55 of Mr T tokens :j:T:D:money: ) and was considering taking the train. She suggested using "that Martin Lewis website" for a deal on a Railcard :T :rotfl::rotfl:
My friends are excellent company, and she told me a tale about how she was chatting to a lady in M&S yesterday, and it wasn't until later that she realised she was an Oscar-winning actress :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: She's been googling her ever sinceHer children were telling me that this was odd behaviour, but I had to agree that I'd be onto google, too
Going to do 15mins of sorting out this board, then off to get my last star

I'm all floorboarded out for the day. But I'm seriously getting there. There is some order coming out of the chaos. I only have one corner now to scrub which is nice. I've done another patches of varnishing but can't do the main 'drag' until the kids are at work tomorrow.
Am now going to put my feet up with Evil Under The Sun on the TV, followed by Sad Cypress and then Doc Martin ~sigh~ Sunday nights aren't usually this good!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
