  • soappie - are they new Miss Marples all finished? Your post about Doc Martin just reminded me as we arent getting Doc Martin/Miss Marple/The Bill etc up here. I can get ITV London on my sky box, but I keep forgetting.

But we don't want to watch them that is why those lovely people at STV are providing much better programmes for us (goes to hunt for a 'tongue firmly in cheek' smilie)

ok, ok, I give up!!! I really cant do any more today. Bedroom still needs some work, but it'll come around again next week. I'll make do with 4 starts for this week hehe.
Need to start thinking about getting the kids organised for bed. Then I think I will stretch out on the settee for the night.

Phew thats the living room sorted. I love my new bathroom but hated having the workmen in. You wouldnt think so as I have them coming back this week to do another job for me. Having a much needed cuppa.

My two GSs were in a car accident last night. GS1 in front passenger seat and GS2 in the back. They were stationary waiting to make a right turn and a taxi had jumped the lights and went into the back of them. GS1s neighbour heard the bang and rang for the emergency services. They are shocked and have whiplash. We cant understand why taxi was behind them as he should have been passing them on the left hand side to go down main road. I didnt sleep too well worrying and thinking it could have been a lot worse.

poohbear Glad to hear DH is feeling brighter.

    Toots - All done :D:j:D:j

WM has been on all day and I have yet more ironing to do.

My nuaghty fat ginger cat Oz finally managed to catch and kill Mr. Fish last night - our only remaining goldfish in the tank. He was enormous (over five years old, and was DS1's first birthday present) so we couldn't even sneak out and replace him before the boys noticed. Cue much waily, waily and unhappiness with poor Oz who still hasn't stopped purring and looks rather bemused that no one liked his nice present :rotfl:.

Boddy - huge hugs for you

This is a Poirot with Suchet - Evil Under the Sun - which may be old, I'm not sure (it's on ITV3) - I only remember watching the Peter Ustinov one. I am enjoying it. I'm not sure which of the Sad Cypress ones it'll be until I watch it!

Boddy - glad your GS's are OK but I bet it did give you a bit of a sleepless night..

  • SSL Thanks for that link chick, I'd forgotten all about that thread. So, I shall be plundering it's bootie at a later date.

Dinner, scoffed it was very nice, if a little creamy.

Now, I'm going to watch x factor... didn't get to it earlier!
