Soappie - you really are on a roll:eek:
    Valli – ‘bugs away’ vibes

    L-L Healing thoughts, my dear.
Toots Hope the feeding tube probs are sorted.
You two are an inspiration – and a reminder not to let small things bother us.

Pigpen – go hassle the docs for that scan app.

Johanne – great news about BF’s son – amazing how these tiny babies keep fighting.

Mudbath – glad they have found out what is wrong. Hope they can get those stones zapped soon.

SS – I can remember when lightbulbs only came one style. Now you can almost guarantee you won’t have the right one in your store.

Sexymouse – hope the w’end break is helping. Use the union rep – that is what he is there for.

Hugs and positive vibes for everyone who needs them.

trying to catch up - beginning to feel better again....but had a bad morning as I felt 'wet' at 7am only to find the tract of my tube is drawing fluid from my stomach and leaking allover me!!! so lots of washing needed today and constant 'packing' around the site until i can see the nurse tomorrow - i think we will need to get a thicker tube put in to stop this happening - fingers crossed they can do something - its really annoying me now!

Dusty hope your IBS has settled down now
embb hope Lily is healing well
pigpen hope your Af problems get sorted out and you get rid of the pains
kazmeister hope you are over your earache now
holly hope your wee mouse hasnt come back
froddy hope the tablets are helping with your arm - well done to you for recognising you needed your AD's and going to the doc - hope you feel brighter soon (((hugs)))
MissHiggerty check the tin for ideas about shifting the paint as if its just emulsion then plain cold water should do it - you may need to work at it gently to get it sofented first - try google for ideas
Quillion - I am soooooooooooo pleased you are enjoying your job sweetie - re your feet - get to the foot care bit and buy the gel pads for the ball of your feet and/or heels - they are wonderful! I think you can get whole insoles of them now too.
MissHiggerty i would have you know that I have mere size 4 feet so i suspect the mule may be an imposter!!!:rotfl:
Dusty goodluck with this months project - what is the Room of Doom?

Yep - I'm getting fed up with the floorboarding and want it finished. Everywhere is a mess at the moment because of it! The sooner it's finished, the sooner my home can get back into some semblence of order.....

    Hello lovely flyladies :hello:

I've been decluttering like a demon (love freecycle!) and I can actually see carpet in some corners now! I'm hoping to join in with some flying again next week, I find this thread really helps to keep me focussed. I wont be aiming for the big stars though as I have flatpack furniture being delivered tomorrow so for a few days the living room will be full of tool boxes and screwdrivers will litter the floor :D oh happy days ....

see you all on next weeks thread!

Sorry I havent a chance of catching up on this thread so sending hugs to all who need them, and most especially to LL and Toots ghug.gif
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    Morning all (just :o)

This thread really helps me to keep things in perspective. I just needed to think of what some of you are coping with on a daily basis to make my broken freezer seem less of a disaster this morning.

When I finally realised that things weren't right, the temperature inside had already risen to well above freezing. I sent DH to the tip with 3 bin liners full of stuff (made a list for insurance first - hope I can claim). We are going to use as much as possible and next door neighbours are also going to end up with some stuff, but it will have to be cooked/eaten today. All the ice cream, and there's me on a diet....

The real problem is that my list for today was already ambitious. Oh well - pigpen's list said to clean the freezer (or was that last week?) ... I'll give it a wipe, along with the floor underneath and the walls behind it, and then just shove it back until I can get someone to look at it. So much for batch cooking my diet meals for the week!

That's it - I've gone on for long enough and it's time to do stuff. Hope you are all enjoying your Sundays.

Save journey to everyone out and about and get well vibes to anyone not feeling well.
  • Oh dear Mrs Chaos.... how infuriating!!!! I hate it when things go wrong like that. I do hope your day improves. (((hugs)))

Toots I'm so sorry to hear that your tube isn't right, and how disconcerting for you to wake up with it leaking!!!!   I hope they get it sorted for you lovie.

SSL :rotfl: :rotfl: thanks for finding my missing posts! :D

Sexy :hello: I hope you have a good week love. :)
