  • Morning All :hello:

Wow, I slept well last night. I didn't wake up once in the night :j :) Although my post surgery bladder does not react well to being so full. So it was a grumbling PITA to empty it this morning! ;):o Sorry if that's TMI this time on a Sunday morning!! :D
It's glorious here today. But we still need to crack on and finish up here.

Greenbee :hello: I hope you manage to have a wonderful time, inspite of it being a stressy work trip. All the very best with it hun, see you on the other side :D

    Morning All

Well haven't been on here much this week. Have been sorting stuff out on the house and I nearly have my tiles finished (would like to say I did it but I didn't)

Childrens' rooms are looking much tidier after I gave them a proper tidy yesterday while they were out with Daddy. I have been piling stuff in there for a while :nono:

Mean to start anew on Monday. Hope it is the Kitchen as I now have a hob and tiles to clean too :) Just need to get the kick board done and cover up the electrics too and I will be nearly finished :D

Mudbath ++ for your DS Johanne BF child too. Greenbee-hope some of it is fun.

Have been reading but I know that I sometimes lose posts if I have looked at other threads before this one ??

    Morning all!

A big 1.gifto everyone who has given me support this weekend - grateful, MrsChaos, froddy, LadyL, Dusty, toots are just a few names that spring to mind. It means a lot that although I don't have many people at work to confide in, that I can come on here (special thanks to pigpen for letting us chat at weekends) and tell you all what has been going on.

So glad to hear that your BF's Baby is slightly better johanne.
Hope the medication and AF settle down soon pigpen and that you're feeling back to your normal self. Glad to hear the abscess is settling too.
Happy to hear that Mudbath's DS can be treated - keeping fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
Forgot to mention earlier when I posted - congratulations to sarahshattered on your extended hours.
Well done to soappie for refurbishing your floorboards.
greenbee I'd second the comments regarding luggage at Macy's. That's where I got my suitcase when we went to LA last year as the cheap one I used on the way out didn't survive the flight very well. Plus in Macy's they give you 10% off for being a tourist as you shouldn't have to pay tax, so also got some nice bras and shoes whilst I was there too. Fingers crossed you get some time out to do things for yourself too and that it's not all work.

My nice clean kitchen got a bit trashed last night when we had chinese takeaway made by my Dad, as the noodles and rice weren't easy to get out of the boxes, and spilled a bit, so I'll have to go over the worksurfaces again today. Didn't change the sheets last night either as LBF didn't get up until during the XFactor and after that and casualty, I was too tired to do it, so that'll be on my list for today too. Also have a mountain of washing building up so need to do that too. Plus food shop and alter my worksheets for my observation on Monday so that they are more differentiated for ability.

Catch up later. If I can do a cupboard in the kitchen and mop the floor, I'll be able to get a star today for the first time in weeks!

    sexymouse xx

  • Good morning; haven't posted much in the last couple of days :o Had a day of not coping yesterday, but slept well, and am off for a short run soon. Every time DH goes away, I have renewed respect to all single parents out there - I certainly couldn;t do it full time :o :A

    Greenbee - enjoy yor trip

Sexy - I've missed your troubles but have a hug :A

Off to update my list, run, then have breakfast. I've booked an 11am meeting with DS and DD (I'd never get to see them together otherwise, they're so busy  ) to plan a short trip away at half term.
