Eh?????
Who's going rabid?
The OP?
Or people who think she's saying she's been ripped-off, scammed or conned?
If you've read the thread, don't you think the OP realises where she went wrong?
And don't you think she regrets it?
And don't you think she's learned her lesson?
So do you really think it's necessary to state that this is a money saving site?
The name sort-of gives it away, don't you think? :rolleyes:0 -
I'm sure the OP has learned thier lesson. If not, shame on them - so we can cut the OP some slack.I run an event management company, I put on events, I go to events, if I don't know anything about events - its not worth knowing!:j:j:jNegotiate, Negotiate, and Negotiate again.:j:j:j0

See post 58 for my original post.
At work the other day we quoted a customer and they were screaming rip off I am going to report you to watchdog, bear in mind that that they were under no obligation to go with the quote. we had not charged them anything so where were they being ripped off.
Is the holiday exactly the same as the one she booked , does it include any supplements, transfers even insurance and any other extras ect, some of these wont appear until you start going through the booking process.
I feel the need to state this is a money saving site as people have taken time to write guides how to get the best deals:Tand people ought to read them.0 -

Your post #58 seemed to be a general comment about people who scream they've been ripped-off, scammed or conned.
I'm not sure the OP was really shouting 'rip-off'.

The customer you are talking about was stupid. If they hadn't made a booking and you hadn't charged them anything, they'd not been ripped off.
Just as a matter of interest, WHY were they screaming 'rip-off'?
Was it because your prices were higher than Teletext or web prices?
I can't see what this has to do with the OP's situation.

Of course you need to be sure you are comparing apples and apples.
I'm not sure the OP was as I think there was some mention of web prices not including transfers. I don't know if this is the Gran Canaria holiday or the Tunisia one.

I don't think people 'ought' to do anything - if they don't want to read guides, it's up to them.
I don't think it's up to you to say people shouldn't be checking prices after they've booked.
