I got an email, but not the one I expected, instead...
"We're pleased to tell you that the below items from your order are now on their way.
Your parcel left our warehouse on 16 May 2006. Estimated delivery times are available on our website"
My order was £60 after deductions, but someone else had an order of £100+ cancelled.
Whether it turns up or not is another matter.

Mine was declined as well. Oh well, never mind.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out. You'll save money on bookmarks too!' -- Amanda's Handy Hints, Amanda Keller. :cool:0

:silenced: Spoke too soon! My cashback's just been declined too.
On the plus side, I've just ordered undies from the US for less than the cost of the exact same items from Figleaves even with all their discounts!0 -

I was lucky and found what I was looking for (Wacoal) on https://www.lingerie-direct.com ($10 international shipping per order), plus I picked up a few bits from some ebay shops.me4bargains wrote:What about custom charges, they can negate any savings made
You're right. I won't get taxed on the ebay purchases because the orders amount to less than £18 each...but I may get taxed on the purchase from lingerie-direct.com. It was worth about £25, so if it's labelled as a gift then they might just let me off! A bit risky, but I was just so pleased not to be spending any money with Figleaves0 -

Unfortunatly customs can still charge you duty even if it says "gift" on the parcel/package as they have the option to open whatever they want but surely it will be in an envelope and they may be more likely to open boxes that they think they can make money on0
