Morocha WTG !!! how exciting. Go grab it I say
Lexus I agree, it's great knowing the thread is here. It's definitely keeping me on track, way better than forking out £5.50 every week to weighed.
Teenie keep posting love. We'll all have good days and bad. It's the support that gets us through the bad days - no?

SS - go for it girl - my new fit flop boots have just arrived in the post so I've got them on - I can't do my wii fit until I take them off later.
DS3 sent home from school with a rash but he is fine so we will get the board out in a bit.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi Lex I am in day 5 i think.... yes it says rest day i think tomorrow( but if i fail to do it one day cos i didnt bother then it appears like a rest day that day and moves on) I think i am so out of shape that i dont find it slow lol ! with the music on it's good ( dance). i don't watch the videos everytime.. i always press A so i get on with the exercise. IF you feel like u can do more press + then choose to do it again.. i do it when i am not that tired.. but i like how the routine change every time.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0

Hi everyone!
Feeling better today and ready to get exercising again!
Walked up town and back today-about 45 mins and weighed myself so I've lost another 2Ibs. I am chuffed but was hoping for a bigger weight loss after last week, I am aiming for 3 Ibs this week for my first stone.
Going to my kick boxing class as I said before it is REALLY hard going (the 2nd week I went I was sick afterwards-nice:cool:) but last week I felt a big difference and didn't have that sick/dizzy feeling afterwards so must be getting fitter.
SS have fun!
Morocha-glad your feeling better today!
Lexuslass-thanks for the encouragement-you're not getting rid of me that easily;) and you're right this thread is brilliant.
Well everyone have a fab day, take care.

DS3 would not entertain wii - fit. I tried the Olympics with him - I was good at vault but rubbish at long and triple jump. I'll have to wait until later to have my turn. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hi everyone- glad to see everyone is making an effort- even small steps add up;).
I have just done 30 mins on the Wii- I have a Wii age of 43 today (mmn-preferred 29 the other day!!!), I am shattered cus I did 2 lots of jogging on beginner level! The prob is my "airbags" are a 38H so its quite painful-I have to hold em in place so I dont get black eyes!!
Yesterday I had a mega headache and I am afraid I ate way too much but on a positive note I am back on track today so I aint beating myself up over it.
Have a lovely day everyone!!:Alovin' this site!

There is another game you can buy - it's called EA Sports Active.. you use the Nunchuck with your remote (which you don't need to use on all of them - you get a leg band to tuck it into when you are not using it).. you also get a resistance band with it..... so you can put it under your feet and do bicep/shoulder curls etc with it...
it is quite a good game actually as you have a kind of 'virtual personal trainer' with it and you get regimes - the 30 day one (which is all I have been on so far) starts off with a warm up... running around a track and then gets you doing different exercises for different parts of your body and then you warm down... I've had running again until today, when it warmed me down with a dance class (like the step class on the wiifit).
But it tells you how many calories you are burning which is quite good...
This is what it looks like...

this isn't the cheapest I've found as I literally went onto play.com to find the picture for you... but it is still cheaper than I paid for it (£35!)...
Sorry to drone on... HTH though!
