Yes Mrs B I got the Wii, out - it was a struggle, but I got there. I did the Wii age and it said I was 48 (real age 39) - after 25 minutes of Wii activites, I checked my age again (ok, I know I shouldn't, but +9 years) and it said my Wii age had changed to 33 - RESULT! I've also taken the dog for a brisk (well for me) walk for 23 minutes. Feeling chuffed with myself. Mind you, my arm hurts - I was moving beds around yesterday morning.
Hope everyone is still on track - good luck!0 -
Right....I have a Wii Fit and also EA Active. Neither has seen any significant action for a good 2-3 months
At the risk of knackering my knees (Wii Active is really tough on them I find) I have to improve my general wellbeing and doing some exercise is going to help that.
Sad fact is during my free time of evenings (which is limited due to 2 young kids etc) I am more likely to sit on MSE than do some exercise. I am up early most mornings and it takes it's toll on my energy levels but I have to do something. I feel de-motivated to lose weight and I am unfit. My weight wont help my poor knees which are definately getting worse and I am only 34!!!!!!
So I am not going to subscribe to X amounts of times a week as I know if I don't manage it I'll berate myself about it which leads to not continuing. I need to remind myself that the Active is rather fun and the Yoga can only help my posture etc.
Wish me luck - am gonna need it!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

can i join in too pls! Have joined the WW 12 week challenge and want to keep up some excercise on the days i can't get to the gym or swimming.
On a roll at the moment and going 3-4 times a week but no sure how sustainable that is in the long term! My wii fit has been under the sofa since i broke my leg 6 months ago...so out my baby will come and hopefully get well and truly used in the coming months...
Plan is to lose 2 stone by birthday in January and 3 in total by April0 -
Bitsy Beans Welcome x Dont worry about making a plan if it doesnt work for you, hun. I have 4 kids myself and know that more often than not, the best laid plans go awry!!
Just aim to do SOMETHING each day, doesnt have to be the Wii, could you go for a walk with the buggy when you wouldnt normally, take the kiddies to the park or walk to the shop? The fresh air will do you good too! Ive made a point of not leaving piles of things on the stairs and then taking it all up in one go. Instead I take each thing up as I need to, meaning Im up & down the stairs a lot more than I was. its all exercise!!
Maybe you could "reward" yourself with MSE time AFTER you've done a set time on the Wii in the evenings? Even if its 10 mins exercise, you'll soon notice the difference!
Make sure, when you DO do something you come and post on here, so we can all cheer you along!!! Good luck!!
plzhelpmesave ouch @ a broken leg, make sure you go steady! Welcome too and good luck with your goals! x

i have to say i am loving the tennis and boxing !!! but not much running and the rest:eek:.. i did a lot yesterday so today im taking it easy, went to Asda to get some shopping i can hardly move !! heheheheh my OH says " See ? that's how unfit you are" and he does nothing :rotfl:, he is unfit too !! lol
i will do some more tomorrow morning, this stage should pass but i want it to pass soon ! i really want to loose 1 stone this year,... i wish i had the wii in 2007 when my daughter was born, then i wouldnt be suffering this much, i can not cope with diets. i used to be so slim, eating like a pig but since DD was born.. i just can not manage to loose the weight... well lost 1 stone when i went to sunny argentina but that;s all.
Well done everyone !:TMejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

So tonight is a BIG step psychologically as it's the 'weekend'.
But I have to face facts.
My weight can't take it/my health can't take it and my liver probably can't take it. And my psyche could do with a real buzz and not a 'beer' buzz IYSWIM

Hi everyone!
No Wii for me today but I walked up town and back (about 30 mins) to weigh myself in Boots and I have lost about 9Ibs this week! I am following the Celebrity Slim diet and this was my first week so really chuffed. Tonight I had my kick boxing/aerobics class and oooohhh its painful lol-I know I'll suffer tomorrow!
I'll see how I feel tomorrow wether I do the Wii again but if not I will definately do some on Friday.
Good luck everyone else.

Evening ladies I am thinking of joining you, so tomorrow I shall dust the wiifit board :rotfl:
I am on day 3 of no alcohol; feeling pants, hope that is a coincidence and not a sign that I really do drink too much
Skived off pilates today so I'm going to need heaps of motivation. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening all,
I haven't done any exercise today as it's been a bit manic. I have however been good on my diet and even went to the pub for lunch with my Sisters and had a Jacket Potato with beans and no butter. Tomorrow i will resume my walking/ cycling routine.0
