I'm a fantastic friend I can assure you, but then I am only friends with the financially solvent

Sorry, not normally one for the back biting but I nearly choked on my toast when I read this. Angela D - you might think you are only friends with the financialy solvent but I wouldn't be surprised that with an attitude like yours those people you consider to be financially solvent friends are actually keeping things from you.

In hell - You've made the first step by coming on here and posting. Even if you are too scared to face your demons at the moment, lurk around for a while, keep reading everyone's posts and pretty soon you might feel encouraged and supported enough to post on here again. The majority of us are kind and supportive and only too happy to help when constructive advice is sought and also for those times you just need to let off steam. :grouphug:

    Good luck hun.

Blimey, just found this thread. Inhell.......if you put as much effort into finding work as you do into making excuses, then you may start getting somewhere. Stop feeling so sorry for yourself. There has been so much good advice and support here for you, but you always come back with excuses. You seem to be wallowing in your situation.

Friendly support and advice don't seem to have helped........you really do need a good kick up the backside.

We saw scenario not too long ago with Greenwellies thread, asking "What else can I do?" and then making excuses for not doing every single good suggestion which posters made. I think people get into such a negative mindset that "I can't" becomes a kneejerk response. It is absolutely infuriating for the posters to have their questions and advice ignored, especially when you have spent half an hour typing out a long list of suggestions. But perhaps it is par for the course; acting upon advice from others can be very difficult, especially if you have to adjust your way of thinking.

Much to her credit, Greenwellies did stick around and started taking the advice on board, becoming a Debt Free Wannabe. I very much hope that Inhell sticks around too, and perhaps re-reads this thread from the top and starts answering some of the many queries and suggestions which are still unresolved.

Inhell.. good luck and best wishes.
