  • I'm waiting on an item coming from Leicester - it was sent 1st class most likely on Monday and not here yet but I ordered 2 items on Monday, both were sent Tuesday 2nd class, and they've both turned up.

Hope it's here tomorrow as I need it for Sunday :(

  • I'm still waiting for an item posed by the seller on 31st August, Second Class. I was happy to wait 'til the end of this week to see if it turned up but no such joy, so I've asked for a refund. If they do show I'll pay for them again but I've been waiting for 3 weeks and I can't wait any longer! Luckily the seller has been very understanding.

4 of my Ebay parcels were reported as missing, 1 has now turned up with no postage on it, 2nd parcel has turned up with not enough postage on it. Lord only knows what is happening at my local PO and the other 2 have not turned up at all.

I ordered loads of books on Wednesday night from various Amazon marketplace sellers and about a third turned up yesterday morning and one of those was only posted 2nd class the day before.

For anyone selling on Greenmetropolis for instance they now have this statement on their front page:

** Royal Mail Strike Update **
We're pleased to say most areas of the Royal Mail are now back to work and we are not currently experiencing any delivery problems or delays.

    well thats not true.
the edinburgh mail centre is stil out on (unofficial) strike
this may or may not continue to monday
so anyone covered by mail going through the EMC will be affected
this will also have effects on collections

very little traffic has gone through the MC over the last 2 nights
however i saw a load of packets delivered to the DO after deliveries today, so i would expect agency workers/managers to be in place to try and clear the backlog
