I've been looking at Boots 3 for 2, but everytime I picked something up I heard ex and sister saying how garish and like a transvestite I look in make up, it's a great deterrent!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I bet you don't! But on the other hand you don't want to be like me and have faaar too much make up hanging around because you kept buying 'bargains'

Oh, haven't had a chance to post the shoes yet by the way, will try to get it done today/ tomorrow :o

I probably do, I only started wearing make up a couple of years ago and I don't really know what I'm doing with it.

There's no rush for the shoes, whenever you get time will be fine.

MP is good but in short term I really think you need to go to CAB~today ~ & get them to do something as a matter of urgency.

  • I really am trying to be positive but it is getting very difficult.
Will try to think of the people worse off than me and there are loads of them I know - some of them don't even have British passports bless em.

Maybe Bunny will give you some lessons - she's the make up expert :D I'm better than I used to be - my first boyfriend used to tell me I was worse at putting make up on than his 14 year old sister :o - although some days it just doesn't work and I revert to the "three year old who's got into mum's make up box" look :rotfl:

  • I'm not great with make up.... i hardly own any, and i don't go for anything other than natural look...

altho i have skin like a 14 year old just now (must be all my hormones raging!) really not a good look when you're trying to present yourself as a responsible mature woman....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • Bookie - I wonder if they would hurry things up if you said you wanted to apply for a Crisis Loan since they're taking so long to process it? http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/BenefitsTaxCreditsAndOtherSupport/On_a_low_income/DG_10018856

Sammy its a very expensive area - can you find someone else for him to stay with??

Found him a little guest house....looks a bit 'quaint' but he is not fussy....£35 per night and includes full english....sounds a lot but it comes with the territory of his occupation.

Becky are you offering...:rotfl: I could never ask anyone to put up with my OH.....he is lovely...but neat and tidy he is not. Think mad professor crossed with Mr Magoo and you are about right...:rotfl:
