Morning
Glorious Autumn morning here and could even see my breath in the air so its brrrrr a bit chilly but lush
At work until 2pm then going to head down to the allotment and plant some bulbs and the new strawberry plants I have waiting to go in.
Lou will be thinking of you all today.
Am a bit peed at work as I have had my tuesday hours cut..only by half an hour but that over the month adds up
Am thinking that I will also loose some hours on a saturday soon too. Time to be looking for another job me thinks!
Right need to do the results of mystery shop and pluck my eyebrows (and you can see why my hours have been cut...its dead here!)
Oh and fabby Nathan, clever boy!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

My claim is still with the decision makers! The lady I spoke to has e-mailed them to phone me urgently.:mad::mad:
I am beginning to feel sick about this. Am I really going to get nothing after working all my adult life?
Glad Nathan is feeling better Luc.0 -

Oh Sally, sorry to hear that. Although maybe it's the right time, since you've been thinking about moving on and making big changes anyway?
Bookie, I can't believe it's taking so long to sort your claim out, I know that having been self employed makes it more complicated but this length of time is ridiculous.
Furniture should be here within an hour...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Hi everyone,
This is my first time to join in the daily chat! But thought that I should at least get stuff down in writing to prove (probably just to myself) that I am making an effort.
I would be no good with a diary so a wee dip into chat may be a better option for me.
Luckily, I am currently not struggling with debt but would like to get rid of the debt that I have. I have been very silly over the past couple of years building up a bit of debt after having serious problems in the past. I have learned from my mistakes and therefore want to get rid of this SOON!
I work a few more hours every month to gain flexi time. I try to use my flexi days to do ebay stuff etc.
My ebay sales go through fits and starts but still quite reliable.
Today I am off sick with a nasty ear infection and have no energy levels so am pottering around with my pj's on and going to get the washing done, the heating on (it's overcast and bit chilly in Jarrow today) and tuck myself up cosy on the sofa and get my ebay stuff on.
So far today I have:
- attempted to call in sick (my manager is in hospital, this is a new job for me so very nervous that if I don't follow policies it may go against me, so its been a bit difficult to contact someone in authority) plus I can't really hear anyone due to ear infection so its all been emails/texting!!
- towels washed
- dried washing from radiators and folded ready to go away
- dishwasher emptied
- dishwasher refilled
- posted query on credit card forum to point me in the right direction
- admitted to y'all that I have been silly with money again but trying to sort it!
- spend free day no1
- read the £10 a day challenge and got ideas for scratchcards/clickthroughs/competitions (just have to find out how much of my day this will take - what with my job, my ebay and my housework backlog!)
Right, now I am off to get me pile of stuff for ebay.
Thanks for listening and I hope you have a productive and no-spend day!

write to your local MP Bookie? Go to the paper? I can totally get your frustration I really do!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Could you contact your MP? I can't think of anyone else you could complain to, it's outside the remit of your councillors, there aren't any advocate groups for 'normal' unemployed people (only disabled etc). CAB are far too busy to be able to devote much time to it. I think your MP is the only option you have left. They should have monthly surgeries near you, but I think phoning their office is probably the best way to go, you need this sorting out asap, and a phonecall from the right person might go a long way.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
