    Afternoon all.. :)

    *hugs* Feelie xx

We've been napping and playing all morning here.. nothing much else to tell. No letter about the MRI results in the post this morning so have phoned the comms team to ask our nurse to bring a copy later. She will if she gets back to the office before coming here.. :o(dreading it)

Right, must be brave and change Rhys.. He's been sat in his bouncer trumping for five minutes already - every time I go to reach for him, he does it again!

Oh we have an appointment for the paediatrician for Dylans reflux for next Wednesday !!!
Considering the doctor didnt want us to be seen before December, the hospital are happy for him to be seen before then (or at least the nurse that phoned to tell us said they were !:))

ETA - hope the results are OK elle

 I'm back from the vets and I am now £120 lighter

Oh well at least he is vaccinated for life now and also we have some new flea stuff to try as he has been scratching even though I only sorted him a few weeks ago  although I can't see any fleas so it could be mites?? The flea stuff covers them too.
He won't come near me though as the vet cut his nails for me too, he's never had them done before and he was rather scared.

Still waiting for my sofas, they'll be delivered anywhere between 11am-3pm?

Feelie - I left my ex as he just dragged me down. He has an HNC that he scraped through with resits. I was in a job where they were offering to put me through an HND but he refused to let me do it as I would end up with a higher qualification than him. I've always loved study and was gutted. The rest of the time he just knocked my self confidence - told me I was fat and ugly, I got told off for wearing fashionable clothes and had to dress in old lady clothes, wasn't allowed to speak to people so I was lonely especially when I gave up work when I was pregnant (was working in a lab handling things like salmonella and listeria, so left immediately I found I was pregnant as I was worried in case I caught anything!)

When we first split, he told mutual friends that I wouldn't be able to cope without him and I'd beg him to come back, but I didn't I feel much happier since I've been allowed to do what I want.

I don't know how you feel about things but you need to work out what your life is going to be like if you stay with him and look at what would happen if you left. Don't just look at the initial period, look at where you think you will be in 5, 10, 15+ years in each case. Only you can decide which path looks the best one to take.

    Take care of yourself xx

Qualifications: I've got GSCE's, 2 A's, 4 B's, 2 C's, 1 D and a higher maths certificate. I didn't attend school in the last two terms of secondary school due to illness so I although the results were not as good as I could have done, I'm pleased given the circumstances. I then did a BTEC NC in Science, and I've been doing a business degree with the Open Uni since November 2006. Hope to graduate next year. Could get a 2.1 based on grades so far which isn't bad considering I had Charlotte in the middle of it and have continued to work.
Here I go again on my own....

Yay on an Air breathing Andrew! :j

Oh Feelie hun, you DO NOT deserve any of that! No matter what has gone on in the past you are not a door mat nor are you there to be his mother. He sleeps and wont eat if you upset him? He is an adult not a child! Only you know what is the right thing to do, but you sound very isolated because of his attitude and behavour and that worries me. I wonder if your problems going out are down to him, he doesn't seem to be helping you, more like he is nurturing those aspects of your personality that are bad for you. You need to take stock of your life and figure out if it is him that is making you feel so bad anf if it is get out while you still ahve the ability to question it.

Sam, hope you get to bottom of vomiting Ed.

MM, also, hope a vomiting baby gets sorted out ;)

Elle, you getting MRI resulots today? Fingers crossed!

Firstly, ((Hugs)) for Feelie. I dont really feel able to comment on your situation. I'm one of these people who really believe in doing everything and anything to make a relationship work especially when you have a child together. I really hope you do manage to sort things out.

Big Yippees for Andrew. He's coming on in leaps and bounds. He'll be home before you know it.

MM - love Jasmine's room. My mum decorated mine as a surprise with laura ashley floral paper. Not quite the princess room I had in mind! Yours is just perfectly pink.

Hurrah for standing babies. Whenever the older babies do something I tend to work out how long it could be before Leila starts doing those things. Where does all the time go?

Qualifications - 12 Gcses 10 As/A*s and 2 Bs. 4 A-levels - Biology, Chemistry, Latin and Spanish. 1 Law degree and 1 legal practice course (with distinction!). I have always wanted to do English A-level and plan to do this is a couple of years just for fun!

Schools - I went to a boarding public school from 11 and hated it. I am a strong believer that parents are the ones that make or break a childs educational development. I feel that any school can provide the basic curriculum and structure but a parent needs to put in the time and effort to get the best out of their child. OH wants Leila to go to private school, I on the other hand do not think it is necessary. I would rather save the money so she can have a deposit for a house when shes older.

OH has a strong nigerian accent whilst mine is very posh (so i'm told). He wants Leila to talk like me and fears that if we send her to the 'wrong' school she will talk badly. I think children develop the way they speak before they even start school but he still really worries.

Its my last week off work and I dont know what to do with myself. I have stayed home today and typically Leila has decided she wants to have long naps! She has started blowing raspberrys and did it yesterday whilst breast feeding. She thought the noise was hilarious. I on the other hand did not!
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j
