scruffy, are you camping out at home until exchange day (Friday?) then moving in with your parents? Any news on the one you put the offer in on? (or did I imagine that.. :o)
  • Oh no!! By the time I caught up everyone had gone to bed :(

Hello everyone! MM - Jas's bedroom is fab!!! You are one lovely mummy!!

mfd - congratulations to Benjamin pulling himself up on the furniture. BTW - you'll now never be able to leave him alone ever again!!!!!!

Thanks MacSmiler! Unfortunately he has had a few bumps over the last few days where silly mummy/daddy/big brother was not watching him quite closely enough to catch him when he let go of the sofa!!! Ah well, I guess that why he will learn to stand - to stop hurting his head :rotfl:

Congrats on your lovely standing girl - but your hubby needs new jeans and I think you may have the same sofa as me!! ;):D

Well done MFD on your standing baby.
And well done Rmac on your standing solo baby!

Violet has only been standing at the furniture for a week or so, but she escaped out of the living room earlier, and there she was in the hall, three stairs up!

Also, i've adjusted the straps in the highchair, as I found her standing in it earlier today!

    :eek::eek:

Violet houdini!!! I would have a kitten if Benjamin stood up in his highchair!! He does like to turn around and sit backwards in it though (he forever has porridge in his hair because he has smeared it all over the back of the seat!!)

Well my clever little boy stayed awake until 11pm (12pm in his little head) with lots of passing around between mummy, daddy and MIL. Needless to say he is now fast asleep in his newly lowered cotbed :D

hello MFD did you have a nice nite?

Elle yes camping out til Friday but i think at this rate I'll be over there before then lol. They only stay a 2 min walk from my house. They refused the 1st offer so our solicitor is getting back on the case tomorrow. So will wait and see. we don't think we'll get it coz we're not willing to pay the valuation price as the house needs a bit of work, but house buying works differently up here???

We had a lovely night thanks scruffy. We raised some money for the air ambulances and won £30 on play your cards right!!!

Although I am still confused about why air ambulances aren't funded???

The house buying system up there is very confuzzling!!

Edit - was looking at comments on my photos and thought I would be better responding on here.

Emlou - the bibs are from Ikea. But Ethel Austin have long sleeved bibs in ATM too if there isn't on near you.

Sami - I do let Benjamin eat in the lounge. I have an old kingsize duvet cover that I fold into 4 and spread out underneath his highchair. Plastic mats get a bit sticky IMHO and the duvet cover is ace - it catches all the mess, I can pick bits up and pop them back on his tray, and because it is a duvet cover folded into 4 I can fold it 8 different ways before I HAVE to wash it!!!! Although I probably do it more often than that, I know that the option is there!

Yeah that always gets me why Air Ambulance ain't funded.
    and
It is a bit confusing but it's ok for me coz we live up here and know how it works. I think English is confusin to coz of the lease hold and also how someone can gazump you right at the last minute.
I just can't wait to get somewhere and not have all this stress again for a very long time if ever!!

    ETA Nite Elle
