LOL - sorry, did I sound snappish??

    Nope :)

Money is a tetchy issue around here these days :o Hubby's business went through a particularly lean phase at exactly the wrong time and I ended up bankrolling digs for his lads in London whilst they were doing a job down there. I am now paying a minimum payment for a credit card that doesn't cover the interest in-month :o And I can't afford to do anything about it ATM.

    eep:eek: poor you!

Will all be sorted soon - the light at the end of the tunnel is within reach - you can tell that because I will talk about it now LOL!!!

To sort Hubby looking after Benjamin we need to sit down and have a good talk about it (in a day or so once I have thought it through). Hubby needs to finish work on the site he is working on currently (looking good), he needs to not take on another job where he needs to be on site (do-able) and we need to set some perameters and timescales I guess....and probably enlist some PT assistance from MIL (again, shouldn't be a problem).

I need time to mull it over but in theory I am very excited!!

that all sounds good :) look forward to hearing your mullings over xxx

Krystal - just the lady!! Is New Invention considered to be Walsall or Wolverhampton??

Ooo - and Tim Minchin is on Jonathan Ross tonight - that is who we are going to see next Sat (fabby seats of course!!)
I think it's classed as Willenhall which is neither Walsall or Wolverhampton... Yet sometimes classed as either... It confuses me LOL... Why do you ask?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

AF, I think you answered your own question there sweetie! If LO doesn't like routine, then it sounds like being a 'go with the flow' mummy is perfect for her :)

The CM I went to see today was in New Invention and it is actually quite handy for me getting to the M6 (in a roundabout kinda way!!)

I found her on the net but she is not on my list from Wolverhampton CC - so then I figured she may be Walsall???

I guess I could ask her when I call her to say thanks but no thanks - or would that be crude!!

i just worry i'm doing her a disservice if she needs a routine and i'm not giving it to her.

she chops and changes every day with what she does in terms of sleep/nap/food that i can't see how to bring in a routine.

ok, maybe this will help, cos I really think children who are very high in rhythmicity are quite easy to spot and I think Fergus is one! Some examples:

In utero he woke and kicked at 7.30 am every day.

He has never pooed in the afternoon or at night and usually between 9.30 and 10.30 am.

He naps for 45 mins and you can set a watch by it :rotfl:

Rhythmical children really notice when something is not as it usually is, and when DH wore contacts instead of specs once, fergie kept reaching out and patting DH's eyelids where the specs usually are.

Does any of this help at all!?

Is it just us or has anyone else been changing their baby's routine in preparation for the weekend clock change?

We've gradually been making bedtime move from 7 to 8 and the dream feed from 10 to 11 so that next week those things will be at the 'right' time again...
We usually split it between two days and change half an hour on Saturday and half on Sunday. Getting up late in the week would mess up mornings when OH is going out to work.

  • Glam- Probably too late but if he really needs changing I would do it before the feed in the hope that the bottle will settle him again. :)

hmmm.... LO is nothing like that at all.

what she will do one day, she wont do the next (sleeping/waking/napping etc)

maybe i am being selfish becuase a routine would work better for me so i could get things done
