Yeah tigs !!!! How are you all ???
I'm either bored or tired, can't decide which. Arrived at NICU about 11:30am, left at 6pm, returned at 8pm and left at 10pm. One definite good feed in that time (5-6pm), as proved by the wet nappy that I changed at 9pm! I think it was another good feed at 9pm as he settled afterwards, but I'll check nappy status on the daily report tomorrow.

Am amazed at how much I've managed to express following the feeds, and to think I was worried about not producing enough ;)

Aww sami, sorry, I would hate that ! If we moved out about 10 mins drive from my house we would live in the middle of nowhere and that is where Chris would love to be, but I couldnt do it !!! I like to know that there are people around me at all times !
I don't like it! I never felt like this at home (as in parents) I grew up on a council estate there was always people or noise even at 4am! All I hear here is the odd freight train or random car, its such a contrast to the daytime when the road is busy and 10 trains an hour are going by.

its fine, Eds just been feeding less often so they've got really full and when they're full he can't latch as easily/well and the milk comes quite fast so I think he's been gulping air and thats been forcing the milk up

  • aww tigs thats great news !! Who ever thought you would be grateful for a wet nappy !!

Demand and supply, the more he takes, the more you give !! Make the most of the expressing straight after a feed to build up supply ;)

yey!! a baby is much better at telling the boobies to make more milk so they're now thinking "ooh make milk baby is sucking" clever things they are!

if you did have trouble my pair make more than enough - in a day I probably leak enough to feed Andrew 10 times over coz he doesn't have much :)
eta: sorry reading back that sounds a bit like I'm boasting - I'm not honest :A(its actually most annoying, I get very jealous of the BFers that don't need to use breast pads and wear a bra 24/7 to keep them in place):o

on a completely different note I'm watching "worlds strictest parents" on bbc3 god the brit teens they have sent to inda are so infuriating! the boy sacked off doing some charity work and went and got a tattoo (tatt places in india don't have to be licensed or anything so the risk of HIV and HepB is very high!) and the girl says at home she doesn't go to school coz she doesn't like being told what to do

Right can I ask a question,

buyer on ebay won an item which clearly states pay pal only. She has now sent me an email saying that her account has been hacked so pay pal is temp frozen and can she send me a cheque or postal order. What would you do. Its a sleeping bag that she won for £2.20 + £1.75 p&p

    i always say no
