The illnesses they prevent are much worse though!skintchick wrote: »Beginning to think I should have decided not to have her vaccinated - these imms make them so ill.
I've not been imm'd against whooping cough and neither has my sis, we know a boy who has been proven was 'damaged' by it (sorry can't think of the proper word) he's very low functioning, plays with really young toys etc (Chris loves going round there coz the toys are at his level)Skinty, glad she is ok. Calpol help any? Or plain infant paracetamol cos calpol gives DS2 the squits
But, I just think it's better to have one night of cranky baby than a child with whooping cough which I had (I also had measels) and I remember having it. My mother likes to regale us all of my Exorcist style vomiting.
...
I'm guessing it's changed now (
) as it was a proven link and it used to be given on its own I think..
I've had mumps and rubella when I was little though, mumps is EVIL it fooked up my neck!! I was only about 3 when I got rubella so don't remember it being anything more than just ill0 -
Howdy all
I've just come home from Asda and the manager was sorting out toys at the door that are reduced to half price. Most were big toys for xmas.
Hope your all well I don't have the energy or time to catch up anything exciting happened today?
Except Caz doing a big clothes shop I read that bit.....Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Hi again ladies.
I'm back with more questions. I do try to keep up honestly, I just don't seem to have much to contribute at the moment.
I have been bfing Kezia since she was born (3 weeks ago today) but it has steadily got more painful and since my scream frightened the life out of her earlier I figured it was about time I got some advice. I have searched the net and think I've got the positioning wrong, although last night we had a perfect feed and I never felt a thing. However, today we are back to excruciating pain again. She appears to chew the nipple, and the redness is mostly around the outside as if it is rubbing raw on her gums or lips.
Further searching of the web said that nursing pads can cause problems as they keep the nipple wet. Now I did discover earlier that the ones I've been using are not absorbent, but what do I do to stop my nipples sticking to my bra? And to stop the milk leaking everywhere? It seems there is quite a bit of it.
Provided the garage agree to MoT my car tomorrow afternoon instead of first thing, there is a support group meeting I can go to at 10.30 in the morning so I'm really only after advice for tonight. I am really hoping that someone can show me where I am going wrong as I have spent the majority of the night in tears as I love feeding her myself and I'm desperate to carry on. I feel hideous that I have been out to asda to get some formula to get us through the night. Made worse by the fact that she turned her nose up at it and clamped her lips shut.
Sorry it is yet another question but any hope/help you can offer me will be very much appreciated by the both of us.

carla, we are the same as you, birthday tradition

also with corsets the only one I am allowed to wear in bed is the 100% leather one that has easy access holes !! Chris loves leather, so it has to stay on
For our honeymoon, I splashed out and bought leather corset, thong, new pair of leather boots and a pair of leather handcuffs !! We had fun
:p The two best things I have done with my life
