girls. ive just had a panic attack. OH birthday is next thursday!!!! just over a week away. no ideas what to get for him. also not a lotta money to get him anything!!!

hello ladies am not on for long as ive still not had dinner!!
OH gave me money today to go and buy some clothes, i trailed around a few shops and either didnt like anything or nothing looked niuce on, as a last attempt to get something beofre coming home i nipped into DP. tried a few things on got very annoyed, just as i was about to give up a sales assisant came in and told me i was trying on all the wrong clothes? she asked my sizes and came back a few mins later with arms full of things! half of the things i would never have dreamed of picking up but they all looked fab! there was 1 outfit out of the whole lot i really didnt like but she really gok'ed me! gave me lots of dress up and down ideas and made me look fab! i am now £250 lighter but have a full wardrobe of clothes i will wear and a great pair of knee high boots! i think OH was amazed that 1) i bought myself clothes and 2)how great i look in them! have been really excited and tried everything on to show OH! i think we should have one of these girls in every shop it would make my life so much easier

should we not invite gok to our meet!!

awh caz, im so happy for you!!
im a true believer in wearing clothes that make u feel good and knowing you look good in them! that was really nice of the sales assistant - i would send a letter/phone the store or head office to let them notice her good customer service. they usually pass it to the SA and sometimes get a reward - bonus etc.

Caz - if gok's busy we could ask the DP lady (Is it just me that thinks that sounds rude!)

Thats exactly what I need - someone to tell me what looks good and not - honestly!

When you get a minute - give us some links to some of your stuff from DP.

How typical! Had I went to the shop earlier I wouldn't have had to take the long way home. Car and a lorry have had a bumpsiedaisy, nobody hurt but a fuel tank has burst and there is diesel all over the road. Plus there was no bread at the shop and I ended up with dodgy looking rolls.

Caz, I had a woman in debenhams run off to get me a dress last year after I tried on loads. The dress looked poorly on the hanger but makes me look like a !!!!!cat doll well, near enough... We need more of em!

its my hubby's bithday next thurs (29th) as well.
i've bought him a Liverpool training top and Kian is buying him the Ozzy Ozbourne autobiography. Cards are bought and written just need to buy the book and wrap the presents.
i;m very organised at the moment for some strange reason. its like my 'nesting' instinct kicked in after the birth rather than before (prob cos i got induced early)
