Just returning to an earlier conversation about the Tesco Baby Club and its offers .... When I signed up in the Spring, they closed the offer of a Huggies welcome box so I never got that voucher. And now I'm an existing club member, I'm not entitled to the new Pampers welcome box .....
So I complained by email, and actually got a response! They're going to send me out the new welcome magazine which contains the voucher for the Pampers box. Not that I'm holding my breath for exciting contents, it was more the principle of the thing .....
I'm on a roll, complaining-wise. Finally got my MA sorted this morning, only 8 weeks after applying!
I never had any coloured bangles ..... sniff ....:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Hi all
I'm new to this thread but wondered if anyone could help? My hubbie is taking my 17 month old son to see his first footie match on Sunday and I'm looking for ways for my DH to prevent me seeing my first born making an appearance on the pitch on Sky Sports!!!! The tickets were free and it seemed like too good an opportunity too miss but it being the end of the month we haven't the money to buy lots of snacks or little things to distract him if necessary (and also I wouldn't want him being stuffed full of sugar and additives, even in the interest of my hubbie getting to see the match!!)
So what I'm asking has anybody any ideas for cheap if not free snacks or nik naks to take along to keep him happy if he loses interest...........although apparently the match is going to be so exciting this won't happen, lol :rotfl:
Thanks everyone, I look forward to hearing from you0 -
Wow gizmomum... I can't really think of any great suggestions bar all the obvious stuff like favourite small toys, and whatever he likes to eat that will travel well... I wouldn't hold out any hope of my baby staying interested and willing to remain fairly motionless for a whole match, I'd think there was no hope at all. Your boy may have a different temperament! Good luck!0

gizmo, snackwise, sandwiches, carrott/apple/pepper/cucumber/celery/cheese sticks
entertainmentwise, I'm sure all the noise, songs etc will keep him amused, either that or he'll fall asleep! My boys always fall asleep when exciting things are happening0
