    Hi all:hello:

I am in a really good mood today after some good news. My student finance has finally been HALF sorted out...and I will get an interim payment tomorrow:j. It will be about 8wks apparently until the rest is sorted:rolleyes:, but we have NO money what-so-ever at the moment so anything is gratefully received:D. On top of that, we are going to be entitled to a fair amount of housing benefit, meaning we will only have to find £150pm out of our loans:j :j

I had Kai weighed yesterday he is 16lb 11oz he has gone steadily down on the centile lines since birth. He was born on the 91st and is now nearly on the 9th:eek: I will have to try [STRIKE]forcing[/STRIKE] encouraging him to eat more, poor thing is gonna waste away:rolleyes:

    Hope everyone is well

    Mel x

Clingy baby here today :( Won't let me more than a foot away from him without moaning, falls asleep on me when I hold him and wakes when I put him down.. *sigh*

Shouldn't we have a new thread by now...?
  • Hi everyone :)

Physio went well today, she thinks he is loosening up a bit more and is actively trying to pull himself up ! Still lots of work to do though. There is a Tuesday morning slot free for hydrotherapy starting in 2 or 3 weeks, so his name is down for that.
We have a referral for occupational therapy to get him measured up for a seat with back support !! Is it weird that I am excited about this ??
So all in all today was - good improvement, and more appointments :p

Hope you are all doing well :)

It's very quiet today. LO is away having her lunchtime nap. Our transition to napping in her cot during the day has been very smooth so that's good. I'm doing an MFD tonight! Hubby and I are off out for an evening while MIL babysits. I've even managed to loosen the reigns enough to leave MIL to bath and put baby to bed so we can go straight out when hubby gets home from work. Now I just have to find something in my wardrobe to wear :D

Morning susan, how're things with you today?
Feeling quite tired but I have been to Lidl and Sainsbury's and got Emlou's chorizo hotpot in the slow cooker (plus chickpeas boiling on the stove) so don't have anything left that's energetic and essential to do today.

Looks like I didn’t miss much last night – its very quite this week for some reason.
I'm not going to point out who is away this week.

Actually I have a question again - I bought LO some long sleeved vests from ASDA as they were a pretty pink colour. I usually buy tesco vest (great value and quality) but they only do white. Anyway - they have been worn and washed once and the necks have all stretched out and IMO not really wearable again as they leave a lot of LO's neck open to the elements (but at a push would do under a babygrow for bed). Should I complain? I don't have a reciept anymore and they did only cost £2.50 - but still I'm a bit miffed.
