DH really doesn't want to see him going to a 'special school', even if it is for a year (one of the suggestions was a year at the speech place then into main stream). I'm more practical and know that he needs a good bit of help, more than can be provided at main stream with a classroom assistant and weekly SALT visits. He's came so far and each hurdle he has faced he has overcame, I don't think speech is any different :D

But I do have a year to make the decision.

Very interesting reading about Dysarthia, sounds exactly like what Chris may have. Everyone has asked me about his speech and if I know why he had the problems (I kinda thought they would tell me?) and I always thought it was to do with the muscles, so this seems to agree with that. One of the things I can ask at this meeting (I think it's the 22nd).

    Anyway I'll shutup now :D

Ah, Ben is yr2, the year they learn that schools about work and not play, which is very tricky at 6. Normally settles by xmas when they forget about last year. Yr2 teachers are not as Mumsy as the early years ones.

yer i think shes learning that ... also i have to say i think her new teacher is more suited for year 4 or 5 theres just something abut her that i dont like x

I have been to a party where Robbie Williams was :shhh: but I didn't speak to him.

How sad am I, I really can't think of anyone else to add to my list :o

How could you not speak to him! You could have told him all about your lovely friend who is incredibly gorgeous and fantastic in bed! :D

[STRIKE]We[/STRIKE] I also have standbys just incase Robbie, Johnny and Dave are busy! Then I turn to Mr.Ramsey, Phil Vickery or Mark Wahlburg. :D

I crossed out We, as OH doesn't even have 1 allowed. His choice - he cant think of one.
shes just started year 2 tara .......... i got a feeling its something to do with jayden being born x

I think it could just be her age. Reception and year 1 are about fun stuff. Year 2 is where the serious stuff starts. DD lost interest in school at around the same time when she didn't like the year 2 teacher.

Hmmm.. OH is forever making eyes (as my Nan would say) at me when I'm feeding Rhys or even expressing - well, until I shoot him one of 'those' looks  Really can't see the attraction myself! :o
