think there was a camera crwe there, could hear an audience in the background or maybe canned laughter.

my friend was telling me today about an american lady who had 6 children ranging 2-12yrs, partner or hubbie left her and unemployed, then got pregnant and had 8 MORE!!!! Think she was nicknamed "Octamum". 14 children. She must have had nannies and publicity coming out of her ears. No wonder she couldn't work with that many children, just think of the washing, food etc etc. How she clothed and shoe'd that many i don't know.

I like my sleep too much.
:rotfl:Bailey have you been living in a cave? ;) I thought everyone knew about octomum, there was loads of stories about it because she had them via IVF so many a moral code broken by her doctor

has anyone seen this, its had me and molly laughing!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8Om4_G0k4A

:rotfl:Had tears in my eyes that is soooooooooo funny!

Visitor gone now - another one that crossed Jack's palm with silver and another £20 for Jack's fund. The boy's got more money than me!
Bl00dy Dog's Trust people called - OH said they were about so I didn't answer early. Then they came back and I stupidly answered the door - I used the newborn baby trying to get to sleep excuse to get him away. :o

I don't mind giving to charity but there's always someone knocking at the door asking for money - no point in me being :money: if I'm gonna give what's left to charity is there?

I'm afraid, like my Dad says 'Charity begins at home'

and on that delightful note, I'm going to go and try and cook tea and get something ready for the SC while Jack is asleep. Finally managed to have lunch at 4pm

oh and  at 90 minute feeds! Is now very grateful for 4hourly feeds!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

One thing I found strange, LO is the 5th baby in the family, and I got absolutely no hand me downs. Not one thing! I don't mind, but I assumed I'd at least be offered something, but nope, nothing.

I've just been getting shouted at by OH for the past hour, because of the amount of money I waste every month. I f***** know my smoking cost loads, but it's not easy to stop when you've been smoking for almost 9 years.
    ...
He was someone I could talk too and cry too and not be ridiculed like OH does.

You have bulimia? JUST DONT MAKE YOURSELF SICK

    You smoke? JUST DONT SMOKE

    YOUR FAT? JUST DONT EAT!

Yeah real f***** supportive. No wonder my hair is falling out.
:grouphug: for you and  at your OH - it really narks me off the way people will make out that breaking an addiction is something really simple and straight forward.
I feel rotten. Got a UTI and a bit of bleeding and lots of abdominal pain. Really hot and dripping with sweat, but everyone else is cold. Seeing GP on Friday but might need to make an emergency app tomorrow.
Drink lots and I would recommend seeing a doctor ASAP. The first time I had a UTI I ended up in hospital because it was really bad by the time I saw anyone (because it took me a while to realise something was wrong and I was on holiday at the time) about it and then the first antibiotics didn't work.
It's hair cut day for El and mummy today, I dispise the hairdressers!! they make me feel ill and they can't wash my hair as I'd be sick. Luckily my chum is my hairdresser so she knows my Phobia lol!!!! And b4 anyone says it yes it is a strange one!! but hey ho I'm a starnge one lol
I've never been to a hairdressers. My mum used to cut my hair and now OH does.

i could strap him in the car seat ready, leave him in the house, get the car and pull up outside the house i suppose :undecided would it technically be any worse than paying for petrol and leaving him in a locked car?
    Sounds fine to me.

    whats a weaning party??
Traditionally a weaning party was a celebration after the child was fully weaned.

There was no partner - a friend was a sperm donor for IVF.

In the US they don't have the same regulations they do here and she'd had that many put in all the other times too and it had never resulted in more than twins before.

I think if it's not a first baby, people assume you have lots of stuff already so don't need as much.
