Edit:just looked and guess I am now thick

lol, also if you get a head hugger the baby can go in the back seat once too big for the cacoon thing its a bit exposed I feel in that bit for a lil baby but you may disagree :)

Toby did his shaky thing again (third time now) and I phoned HV to ask her. She said exactly what I thought - it sounds like he could do with some solids! Seems an odd hunger signal, to go shaky. How can you tell the difference between an unconscious and a sleepy baby? Not medical advice, I just wondered, scientifically that is, what the definition of unconsciousness is.

    Stoptober Survivor
Right I have spent all day removing the virus and 184 cookies !!!!!!!!!!! from my computer.
Now I run a scan every day and the scan finishes at 1.13am last night / this morning and the virus e-mail was sent at 1.33am, so it waited till the virus check was done.

Have changed all my passwords again after only changing them at the start of the month (I always change my passwords on the 1st of the month)

Hope you have all had a lovely day :)

MM - hope you get it all sorted! Thankfully I have none of those accounts.

OH just rang - one of the girls he used to work with wants to pop over NOW as she is going to M&S. Mad panic to try and get some order in the front room and then she text me to say would be an hour - phew. Time to relax I think now I've done it all in 5minutes and put Jack in an outfit instead of his slobbies. I'm staying in slobbies CBA to get changed!

My little man is 12 days old today, and feels like he's been part of the family forever! He's been home for a week now. Our only issues with him are that as of Sunday he still hadn't regained his birth weight
This sounds exactly like my story. Tom didn't put on his birth weight for just over a month, so I didn't get discharged from midwives until then. nightmare. telling me every other day different ways to feed, I was told to take fenugreek and breastfeeding support tea, to feed every 3 hours religiously and in the end they had me feeding of one boob and expressing off the other every time. it was difficult to say the least. one even said "if i don't give him some formula he'll have t be admitted to hospital and fed through a tube. i perseveered for a couple of weeks after that but ended up iving him formula in the end as we got referred to the hospital for him to be checked. now he is thriving. i think the main thing is though DO NOT STRESS!! It will have the opposite effect than is required when breastfeeding. make sure you drink plenty of fluids and eat well.

    whats a weaning party??

i really want to email the woman that recruited me for that job interview i went for, she was meant to call weds or thurs of last week and let me know either way but she didnt have the simple courtesy  its really annoyed me that i took 2 hours of my time and they cant spare 30 seconds to make a quick call or send a quick email! when i used to interview people i always had the decency to let them know either way, out of sheer politeness
i also want to complain that the interviewer was bored before i even walked in and made it quite clear, propping his head up on his hands, looking at his watch etc, didnt listen to any of my answers to his questions and made me repeat one thing 5 times cos he wasnt listening, while the woman that was there with him taking notes looked on apologetically!

i dont know if i should just leave it though, but it is really annoying me!

  • We're back from the Docs. Liam manage to throw up all over himself immediately after his jabs :( but his doctor was lovely and she let me into an empty examination room to clean and change him. She also commented on my wheezing, I've had a cold for the past few day, but it seems to have moved into my chest. I left with a repeat prescription for 2 types of inhaler :o
