  • hope your not having yr tea, but molly just came to the kitchen and told me she wanted the potty, so tights and nappy off and she's sat there watching noddy, when this waft came up my nostrils...lovely!! I've asked if she's finished but apparently she's happy to sit in her smell, noddy is too interesting to move. Meanwhile the rest of us have to suffer! lol

I'm making the most of this time here today, back to two kids tomorrow and life more hectic.

skinty i've got a corsa and they just about fit in my boot, a fabia should be bigger surely?!
Well you'd have thought so but we have measured and it seems nothing will fit. I don;t get it, I really don't.

Anyway, today she went in the car OK with no crying :j and I bought her a toy arch thing to go in there although our car seat doesn;t allow it to attach very well. Mothercare didn;t have the window toy and I don;t have time to order for the weekend but might get one another time.

Feeling more hopeful about the drive now as overall today she spent 90 mins in teh car OK, with the longest stretch being 45 mins and she was fine - even went to sleep twice!

Now she is crying and fractious because she is overtired - she was well asleep in the car when I got home and we debated whether to leave her in there but it seemed wrong so we took the seat out but she got rained on and woke up and has been cross ever since :(

I'm searching for a pushchair for our holidays, but I haven't found anything I like yet so I think we'll take the big pram - nothing looks snug enough compared to the pram! :o

I did just see a SX Halo on eBay, "brand new in box, duplicate gift" - they cost £250.. Who buys a £250 pushchair without checking first if it was actually wanted/needed?!

We looked at that on eBay and ordered one from SX to see if it would be a good alternative for us as it fits in the car but it doesn;t actually lie flat and she would have to face forward. IT's not as good as it looks at first IMO.

I'm mlooking into it but I think we will have to put the chassis on the back seat and the cat in the boot. She was OK in the car today so we might be all right as long as we travel bewteen feeds.

Is good to know that is possible for future though - car gets pretty full when we go on hols!

Oh and Elle - I would kill for three hourly feeds!! Lilia is two-hourly and I thought it had started to stretch but today we are back at every two hours. Such a pain. I'm hoping it will ease off at some point - she is 11 weeks today and exclusively BFed.

    Skinty, would this fit?

I don't know if Fabias come in different sizes, but it seems to fit the dimensions I found.

Oh, and I'd kill for 2 hourly feeds! 90 minutes usually here, although only 5-6 times at night!

I'mn glad someone else feels my pain!! WE have 5 feeds a night (between 11 and 7). So it doesn;t get better any time soon then?

To be fair a lot of feeds are short now. Plus he is absolutely enormous and almost 6 months old! Only 7 days to go before I've been breastfeeding exclusively for 6 whole months! Then the fun with food can begin.
