Morning *tries to keep eyes open*

Buttons-just wanted to say you are so beautifull (looking at your avy) and your man sounds like an idiot at times with the things hes saying to you. I have missed a lot recently on here, so are you going to have surgery on your belly? If so, good luck for that. I can understand how much that must get you down.

    keely.

ps-my horrible neighbours are back and already annoying the hell out of me and i'm loosing sleep again.

There was absolutely no way my pram would go in the car (Silver Cross Kensington) and stil have room for other stuff. I kept that for walks from home, and bought a Chicco London Stroller to keep in the car. It goes flat back and came with a cosy toes and raincover.

Still poorly here and now Joshua has got it. Was woken to the sounds of him throwing up in the toilet - nice! I haven't got time to be poorly - it's really frustrating :(

Missed out some pages but take care Button. I think you're great and hope things work out *hugs*
Here I go again on my own....

Hope all goes well today Elle... I know what you mean about the pram... I have a Maclaren and am totally in love with it... But I don't use it much because Caitlyn just looks too exposed in it... She's definitely more cosy and protected in the big pram... I don't remember feeling like that with Aimee, she was in a buggy by 3 months... But then it was the height of summer then so maybe the weather has a part to play... We're off to London next week and the rational part of me knows the Maclaren and the sling would be a lot better for the tube... The irrational Mummy part of me wants to take the big gay pram...

Weezl, really hope your new manager is more compentent over the telephone once you've explained everything to her :)

Becles, hope you feel better soon! (and well done Joshua for getting to the toilet on time... At least you don't have to clear any vom from the carpet!)

Keely, have you considered called the antisocial behaviour team at the council? They can monitor the situation for you... You might have already done that though, sorry I'm not much help with nuisance neighbours, mine are awful!

We're off out tonight... I'm really excited but also absolutely sick with nerves... This will be the longest we've left Caitlyn... It will be about 5 hours or so... And I know she sometimes chooses to go that long without milk (and can definitely do it at night) but I've only expressed 5 ounces... And she's still no better at taking a bottle (although did cup drink some yesterday... very messy!) I just keep telling myself it is a trial run for next week, and it's better to try it out with my Mum at her house than with the in-laws in a hotel room... But then if it goes abysmally then I suppose that's just more worry for next week....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • i've pulled some drum sticks out of the freezer, anybody have an idea of what to do with them apart from roasting. we all prefer skinless chicken and i don't have the time or patience to skin them all, quite a large pack. should i cook them to loosen the skin and do something else with the meat?

i also have peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic carrots herbs etc. would like to do something and have it ready for dh coming home at 7pm tonight, should be defrosted by lunchtime i hope.

    any suggestions welcome pls?

Morning and thanks again to everyone.

Things do seem better this morning.

I can see his point about the cost of smoking etc, I really can, I hate throwing the money away myself, but it's an addiction, and it's one I've had for almost 9 years, not easy. Could afford to take Keira to Disneyland with that money after about 8months

I still don't think there is much of a reletionship with him, it might have something to do with me not wanting him to touch or come near me, or his obsession with games. Really do think his gaming "hobby" has caused a lot of resentment from me, it's the reason I got some cats, because I wanted some company, and all he does is whinge about them aswell (Ok so do I, but I say it with underlying love!)

Maybe counselling would help, for me, I don't want to just throw in the towel yet, I think him going to live at his mums for a while would give me a bit of breathing space though, even if he'd just go for a weekend now and then.

I am going to make a more concentrated effort to find a job, might help me, force me out the house, be a bit more money to go around. Only thing I dread is coming home to a tip of a house, he could easily live in a sty and not see an issue with it, his mum is like that too, cleaning really isn't a priority in their house, must come from that, or he's just bone idle and knows If he leaves it long enough, muggins me will tidy up.

No, not getting my belly cut off, I want it too but I really don't think the NHS will do it, I've got the doctors on Thursday as they got a letter back from the Plastic Surgeon (I still don't understand that, they haven't seen me, wheres my app!) and if they don't, I'll just have to find a way to pay for it myself, like a credit card:o As much as going abroad is tempting and it's cheaper, I daren't do that, probably come home with a belly worse than it was, with lots of hack marks on it too.

Got the dentist at 10, I best go wash my hair, really don't want to go!!

    Morning All :hello:

Sorry, I'm useless at giving advice - plus when I do, my pet trolls tend to wade in, criticise, take over the thread and spoil everything. So I'll just stay quiet and offer you all a pervy hug instead :grouphug:

good luck at the dentist buttons and hope you're feeling better today.

bailey, i would either chuck it all in a roasting tin together and serve with saute potatoes, pasta or rice, or if you have a tin of tomatoes bung all the veg in with them and some herbs in a pan and serve it over the chickens roasted or grilled, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

But first I need to psyche myself up to phone the new manager. I know she's the one with all the power, but she's got off to a really bad start with me! Her email was high-handed, inattentive and hadn't read mine properly. She also doesn't have her facts straight. All of this frustrates me when someone is paid £40k a year to be in a senior role.

It seems now like I need to ring her and tell her about the pregnancy for her to treat anything I say is an urgent task as an urgent task!

HUG and good luck for your phonecall Weezl - try to have all aspects thought through but don't overanalyse/overplan the conversation or you will end up in tears like I did the other day :o

There is nothing more frustrating than having to ask the same question twice is there?

Elle - good luck for today.

We have a busy day ahead so will be AWOL for most of the day. Have fun all.

Ooo - and if anyone sees any nice (but reasonable) bibs with press-studs rather than Velcro could you let me know where please. Benjamin only keeps a velcro one on for 30 seconds these days and I like to laugh at him pulling at a press-stud one :rotfl:
