Maz Could you not go for a buggy board or one of these. I think El would be ok on both and Henry and El are about the same age.

Krystal - forgot to say, I REALLY hope you enjoy tonight. I am VERY jealous! Enjoy your mummy and daddy time (and put a drink in your bag cos it is very expensive!!)
We will very much enjoy it and we're VERY grateful :D

Being a Mum I never go anywhere without a selection of drinks and snacks in my bag ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Morning everyone.

Elle, hope all goes well today. I really hate early appts too. Good luck x

Buttons, Glad you're feeling better today. If you do want your relationship to work im sure you can work it out with a little give and take on both sides. I would be more worried about the violence tho. Hope the dentist goes okay this morning.

Bec, hope you are all feeling a bit better soon.

Yay for Seths tooth, for Ryan crawling!!

Krystal, hope you have a lovely evening

MFD, I bought some bibs with poppers on from M and S. They are quite big too.

Weezl, hope your phone call goes okay tho it does seem as tho you're going to have to mention your pregnancy for them to see the urgency.

Im sure ive forgotton something but hope everyone has a good day. Ive got beef bourgionon (sp) in the slow cooker for tea. I think i have a leak in my roof ( oops, nearly spelt it foof!) so have someone coming out to have a look today. Hope its not going to cost a fortune x

That's a shame. As a tax payer you've contributed to it, so I think you can feel free to claim it for your children :)

I agree especially as some of us dont get that much from the Govt so anything you are entitled to I think you should claim !!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

has anyone ever actually claimed childcare vouchers? we are entitled to claim nothing in the way of childcare tax credits so am i right in thinking that claiming vouchers to cover a childminders fees would make us slightly better off in the long run?

i have read martins article and a few things online but i dont really understand it all :o

the way i think i understand it, is that if you claim them you dont get taxed on them, and you will get taxed on the remainder of your wages? so for an easy example if you earn £100 a week, claim £20 vouchers, you will only get taxed on the remaining £80 of your wages?
