Info on MA here - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/BenefitsTaxCreditsAndOtherSupport/Expectingorbringingupchildren/DG_10018869

Mentions nothing about any amendment to the amount if you're getting comp mat pay too. Tbh, I don't think they'd ever find out if you were getting it :)

Will carry on digging - I remember another site I've seen, a bit more indepth (I think it's supposed to be a guide for DWP employees making the decisions really! ;)), will see if I can find it again :)

    *hugs* xx

Keira is being a right misery, think I'm away to try and get her to have a nap, she won't go down for the rest of the night at this time though, but she is currently lying on the floor flailing around like a fish out of water and gurning/moaning/coughing/being silly. Just flying over my head.......for now.

That beef was really nice out of the SC, except I couldn't cut slices it kinda all flaked off into chunks! No worrys, tasted gorgeous though, and there is LOADS left, so think I'll make a steak pie tomorrow as it's perfect consistency for it :)

    Horseradish sauce is yukky.

Thanks jha - I was just looking at the same :) I think that might be the one I'm thinking of - it was definitely a DWP one, but looked more "wordy" with less piccies and logos, but then they could have just redesigned it since I last looked :)

As an aside, can't believe that it's a DWP site and out of date! The flexible working paragraph at the bottom is wrong - it's parents with children up to 16 now, not 6, who can apply for flexible working

Anyone with older children, do you have any experience of sleepwalking?

James does it, and sometimes he talks or sings in his sleep. One night I went to bed and he was leaning over the bannister rail on the landing. I wasn't sure if he was awake or not, so I asked what he was doing and he said he was fishing  Just quietly told him the fish were asleep and he went back to bed. Othertimes he's just got up and wandered around and gone and got back into bed. We've got two front doors (original one with a deadlock on and then the porch door with a key lock but I remove the key and keep it in the hall). He's never attempted to get out and just seems content with wandering round the house.

Avacado = food that DOES taste funny :rotfl:

We just had guacamole with our fajitas for tea :D

Charlotte was mega excited this afternoon. We took the dog out and a man from the council was mending something in the metal box that controls the street lights. He was kind enough to let her peer in at the wires and switches and she told him it was really good and excellent :D
Here I go again on my own....

I might be wrong... But MA is not means tested. So I'm guessing that anything you earn above and beyond it doesn't disqualify it does it?

Weezl, I'm sorry your manager can't work out your KIT days in time though, that's just pooey!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
