Krystal, while you are here. LO gained an average of 10oz per week for most of his life. Past three weeks, the first three weeks I've dieted, he has gained 1oz per week. Should I worry? I'm having about 1800-2000 calories, so lots, but then I am the size of a small house.
No not at all... Your body will use your calories to make milk before it does anything else, think of women in 3rd world communities that consume nowhere near the recommended daily amount... Their milk is just as good as anybody elses...

Around 5/6 months babies weight tends to plateau compared to previous months... This is usually what sends people to the weaning spoons, but it is a completely normal developmental phase... Think how much more active he is now compared to a few weeks ago... Rolling around, lifting himself up onto his feet and head... It's all using up energy from food stores...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I can't comment on the Tobes and BF part feelie, but are you sure that's enough calories for your body weight and activity levels whilst breast feeding even though you're dieting- I wouldn't want your body to go into starvation mode, and Tobes growth suggests there might be more than the usual 500 extra cals a day required!

    I'll butt out now :o

I'm eating lots, and struggle to add more without triggering cravings and letting it all fall apart. Creamy curry for tea tonight though!

Thank you. I didn't bother talking to HV as her advice last time was babyrice! I'll try not to worry too much :o

SM have a look at halfcost.co.uk (code FF15 for 10% off) and 95pence.com.

I've been going mad on approvedfood.co.uk this afternoon - £30.86 for over £100 worth of stuff.

They do start to slow down a bit though as they get older and looking at the graph, it looks like Toby grew faster than most so maybe he "got ahead" so to speak in the growth stakes and is now slowing down.

Evening All, and apologies for being such a bad correspondent :o Dunno what happened today, just didn't get onto the laptop. Mind you, I was sweeping and washing the floor at 8am, that might have something to do with it!
