does anyone know of any offers on indoor clothes airers? i've got this which actually came as pack of two with a "over bath" one, not that i've ever used it over the bath lol, but it isnt going to be enough to get us through the winter, i've got things hanging over chairs, doors and the banister at the moment  i think i want a decentish concertina one, asda are doing them for £10, is that the cheapest? the ones i've got are a bit flimsy and sag a bit when full!Mummy to

I'm back from my travels now. Not even going to try and catch up so hello, hugs etc to everyone.
I've just loaded my SC with a double quantity of rice pudding.
We're flooded with milk, brought a load back with us plus our usual Tuesday double delivery (milk man has Wednesday's off).
DD had a fab time in Northumberland despite the site not really catering for pre-schoolers, the swimming pool being too small (had to book in advance) and the entertainment room not being big enough - all seats gone by 6pm!
Her introduction to the world of horses began too as they have stables so we spent some time stroking the Shetland ponies.

I have some tesco stuffing (not the cheapest, about 25p a box I think...) It's nasty... Don't know if we just had an off box or something but twice I made it and it had a nasty bitter taste to it.... Will stick to paxo I think lol...
Nicki, the reason they are so cautious is because a tiny baby can go from 'appears fine' to very ill in a very short time... In saying that, you are a very smart woman and I'm sure you would act quickly if you thought there was a problem.
Did the midwives check your latch? Does everything feel fine when you feed? No pain etc? If he's feeding efficiently then he will gain his weight again soon enough. As Tia said, if you are determined to breastfeed then don't let them undermine you with formula milk. Is there breastfeeding support local to you? If you ring the number in my sig there is a chance that you might get through to someone who could come out and sit with you while you feed... Breastfeeding peer supporters tend to have a lot more training and knowledge on breastfeeding matters than midwives and health visitors...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

finally got a chance to log on!!
DH has been hogging the 'puter today...
Kian doing well. am getting used to the interupted sleep at night. although if i stay up till bout 1130/1200 he usually only has me up 2 more times. struggle a bit at night to get him to settle. but during the day he's fine. though cos DH gone out to asda my visit here may be short as i can hear him stirring although he was fast asleep 5 mins ago. having more awake times as well during day so hopefully this will mean he will sleep a bit more at night.
hoping to go for a walk everyday with him but weather today has been awful so not bothered.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
on stuffing balls, i use the 16p asda one and make it up with loads of extra water, then roll it into balls and roll it in flour before putting in with my roast tatties, mmmmmmm
baby mac and cheese = great success, thanks weezl!! i didnt measure anything out though, just kinda chucked it all in together. blatantly used too much butter but its really yummy, its in the blender to be halfway-between-puree-and-mashed when he wakes upi made white sauce, i'm so proud :rotfl: i could never do it at school!!
if he doesnt like it, i'll eat it... *almost hopes he doesnt like it*Mummy to

I haven't caught up sorry.
Elle, sorry to ask you a worky question again, but I've got myself all in a tearful state and can't think clearly about what to search the whole internet for!
If I'm eligable for MA, not SMP due to no earnings in the qualifying period, is any of that affected (ie withdrawn) by me being given some enhanced maternity pay from my work (next year I mean).
They're saying either I can do KIT days to achieve SMP (which my new manager won't action in time) or not get it, but that they will honour the enhanced part that my work usually gives IYSWIM.
Love sad stressed weezl x

No, (personally and logically) I don't think so, as MA is paid by the government/benefits office not your employer.. But then I wasn't exactly right last time, so might not be an idea to trust me!Will go look it up and come back with some links..
