My knee is hurting like a bu**er now! It's so stiff.

There isn't a space on the form for a character reference, first page is your details, second page is school qualifications and last job, then a page of other employment youv'e been in, then the last page has 2 things, "please give any further information you feel will support your applcation, including why you want to work for XXXX" and the REFERENCES, give 2, name address number etc.

Where would I put in details of being a SAHM? And what is my reason for wanting to work for them? I think putting "Im skint and need the dough" wouldnt work in my favour :p
put the SAHM on the further info or previous emp.
put Character ref in the refs but and just but next to in "character" :)
you want to work for them because; they're a well known/respected company? you'd like a career in hospitality? you enjoy meeting new people everydayso wanted a custome facing role?

MM - those pics are great. Think when Jack is a bit awake we might get some done - although saying that my sis is learning photography atm and has a wicked camera so maybe she can take some for me! :money:

Elle - that is a fantastic list of skills learnt whilst being a SAHM and something I wouldn't have thought of!

We recruited a guy at work who'd been a SAHD for nine years with two children since his wife left them when they were 1 and 2.. I've kinda ripped the list from what I can remember of his CV/application form :o

Lurking is not good! Having not much to say isn't an excuse, surely you can fill pages with chat about poo and milk like the rest of us? :rotfl:

Oh, and I've had two cereal bars, a pear, a yogurt and some jelly. I'm obviously not hungry, just want to binge. Still, it is all low fat stuff and I'm within points, so it is better than 24 bags of crisps!

    MM - fantastic pictures!
Glam - I'll miss you
Button - what did you do to knee?

I expect so! said birthday girl has an older sister, 2 cousins and a good handful of friends! :D
She's fab too, the same size as her big sis (2.5yrs) and Chris and she can climb up anything - she's like a monkey!

Hope all is well for everyone :D

    these are gorgeous

been a busy day. been to our baby sensory class. I'm not sure LO gets nearly as much out of the classes as she used to. It all felt a bit rushed, hectic and not much fun this week :( Oh well, we'll wait and see what it's like next week, but I don't think we'll be signing up for another block of ten.

carried on the cooking and baking theme from yesterday - cake cooling on teh racka nd I want to try some bread next, but LO been grouchy all day, so having 1/2 hour to myself before she wakes up.

SIL over from Oz for a few days so won't be online until after the weekend now. Hope you all have a great time and babies are all well behaved.

ladybird - hope your first week back at work has gone well
