Chris has THIS trampoline, it was a b00ger to put together but great once up, he still loves bouncing almost 2years later, there's no scary springs on it just a REALLY strong elastic (that is what made it hard to put together, it took 3 of us over an hour :rotfl:)
what about a tool kit? I like THIS one its on Chris's list.
OH was thinking more of a trampoline like this !!

.They'll say wait n see
just be happy you don't have to put up with the grumpy baby (or is she being grumpy anyway?)
There's nothing you can do to make them come faster and I'm pretty sure it's not a sign of a problem if they're slow coming
Chris got his first at 11mths
She is having her moments of grumpiness lol my eldest was 9 months when his come through (long time ago mind lol). I think a lot of my worrying is coming from friends and family constantly asking if she has any teeth yet, it gets quite fustrating :rotfl:ah well at least i havn't got to go through the biting stage yet :rotfl:Mum to 4, No 5 due Xmas Day 2010

Slide was OH's idea, or a trampoline but I think that Lo is a bit young for one of the big trampolines?
Scribbler from Asda ? might be an idea as its cheaper !! He doesnt really play with that many toys but also thinking of some Lego Duplo (Thomas set) as he has that at nursery and loves Thomas - probably as joint pressie from people.
If you have family that are happy to join together for gifts that makes life easier!;)
DS1 still plays with all his duplo now (age 7) and will happily create a train track with his Thomas stuff... although he doesn't really play with the trains anymore
just likes building a track :rotfl:
What about a trike/bike? or stickle bricks? I think elc sell them (or at least they did)
We are in a similar position dd2 19th Nov, dd1 24th Nov and then Christmas - I know that I have appreciated gift vouchers for the local play center (you know the places with ball pits etc) and I have given vouchers for pony rides in the past (with a little token something to open) Just an idea for gifts that don't take up room iykwim?
At least the gifts get smaller (size wise) as they get bigger...I made the fatal mistake of asking dd1 what she might fancy for her birthday  "a mobile phone" followed by "but muuuum, everyone has one!" She is well aware she will be dissapointed... I don't understand why a 8/9 year old needs one? I know they have them!
I guess it isn't a need is it? more of a want... unless it is a ploy - she will probably try getting her ears pierced next :rotfl: 0 -

I thought he was, I hate them
I'm scared to death Chris would get his finger trapped in the springs and I think they're a bit of an eyesore :rotfl:
anyhoo Chris isn't ever getting one but is free to play on his friend's ones if they have them when he's bigger as long as I'm not there to panic about it0 -

Leila will hold a thin rattle if you put it in her hand, she'll then immediately try to shove it in her mouth. She much prefers to hold her muslin. She reaches out for the teddys on her bouncer or on the play gym and again tries to pull them towards her mouth. She really concentrates very hard to get them. She makes an ooh shape with her mouth (we call it her baboon face) and reaches out with her arm. Whether she actually manages to grab it is all a bit hit and miss, literally!!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
just tell them "no, thank god! no painful biting, faffing trying to brush them and no dentist appointments - woohoo!".

Family are quite good like that, my sister has had us club together for rocking horse and dolls house before. Mm the ball pit place near us only charges £2.50 for upto 2's and thats for unlimited time period...I thought he was, I hate them

Is watching her with her teddies living up to expectation? Wait until she is pulling them off to put in her mouth...or trying to sit up to get closer to them!!
We have had to put the bouncer away now because Benjamin was using the bar to do chin ups :rotfl:but we still have the teddies knocking around and he still loves them
please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

I am an expert gift wrapper
do I [STRIKE]need[/STRIKE] have to make a slit for her mouth or can I stick a bow over it?!;)
My mum had my ears pierced when I was 3  at that point she shared access with my dad so I spent alternate weeks with each parent - needless to say when I went to my dads the next week he took them out :rotfl:
If my kids ever deceided to list me on ebay - I think it would be something along the lines of Mum, the woman who loves to say no...0
