Alice is so cute! Annabel cries just as she goes to sleep - but it's a different cry from being upset/inpain. Almost like a comfort to herself as she can't express things at this age. I must try and read that article if I get time.

Evening all..

"Pleased" to report I've been good and been for my very first smear.. Ouch! Anyway, all done now..

Have decided I'm going to take Rhys to play at Grandma's for the day tomorrow so I can get some stuff done for a change. Challenge for tomorrow is clean the bathroom, straighten my hair properly, sort clothes, food shopping and a bit of baking, and get the house visitor tidy for my work friend coming over tomorrow evening.. Am tired just thinking about it but it'll be worth it when it's done

Speaking of Grandma, she was very jealous of my organisation and "changing box" (nappies, wipes and bum cream) that I keep in the living room so made herself one in anticipation of Rhys visiting, which involved opening a pack of Huggies Size 1s which never got used in the end and Rhys is now too big (ha!) for. Does anyone with a dinky baby (or any preg thread lurkers) need a fairy delivery of said nappies? Shout out if you do

OH is going to that Meaning of Life discussion group tonight so I'm home alone til about 10pm Might need to nip out for chocolate to keep me company first!

Tia, very interesting article. Makes a lot of sense with Rhys, he does cry for seemingly no reason and just wants to be held - I think I've mentioned on here before about his crying where I just hold him and let him get on with it - particularly I guess from birth trauma and distressing events (blood tests). Have sent it to OH for him to have a read too

3 - Rather you than me , with a sleepover. I am still yet to invite ds2's friend over for one to return the one they had had his friends house!!

Uni is going well, but silly me forgot my purse today I had been up from 6.30am no chance for brekky and two slurps of tea before running out the door. After dropping kids off at various places and heading off to uni, I got back home at 2pm I had not had a single thing to eat or drink until I got in.....My head was banging with dehydration as the rooms were sooooo hot too!! I won't be doing that again.

elle im having one of those days tomorrow zoes at school jayden with daddy ........... mummy doing tiding, baking, hoover from top to bottom and doing the washing ........

im having my knee checked out tomorrow as well ive had problems for a while just getting to me now ..... im also suppose to be having a smear but im still (yes still) bleeding its really light but will they do it or will i have to rearrange x
