Sami - I find the A&P work almost instantly!

And, our Dr/HV always asks if baby has had any problems/colds/sniffles before the jabs - and if they've got/had any, they won't do them.

You've reminded me, I got notification of Liams Jabs today - they're next wednesday and my Mum is on holiday and hubby at work I also got an appointment for his 6 week check, 21st Oct when he'll be 12 weeks old :eek:

3 the nurse her only won't do them if they've had d&v or a fever. They talked me into giving them to Chris when ill be he never had any reaction to jabs.
I'm not taking Ed then I think I'd made my mind up already really, just need to confirm I can't put Ed through that on top of the cold, I've been panicking about these jabs for weeks already!

misters got his jabs tomorrow sami i dont think your over reacting if they complain sod em you know whats best for your son ... a few days wont hurt x

you'll be fine on ur own, but ask ur doc's asap about the date because mine won't do the jabs until they've had the check x

I would cancel them. It's not essential that they are given exactly on time, and our doctors won't give them if baby is already poorly. Hope he feels better soon.

Car has been taken to garage now. They're going to have a look at it and ring me back to let me know the damage.

I asked about the jabs on Friday when we were there, and I was told that they were running with a delay - they checked the system and told me he was already booked in for his jabs, and that I would be contacted about his 6 weeks check as soon as they could. They are concentrating on the jabs to make sure they fall within the ideal date range and the check will follow as its not as time sensitive

ETA: I would agree with not getting them done if little 'uns are already poorly.

I hope the car is ok. have you checked to see if there's a council MOT place nearby? they don't do repairs so gain anything by failling you falsely - Martin recommends :money:

tigs, he's getting really chunky! caught a glimpse of that chunky knee there

sami, ours wont do jabs at all if they're even slightly ill you'd think something as important as that would actually be one of the things that is uniform across everywhere lol! oh, and those a&p are a absolute godsend, they work more or less instantly here too!
