Evening ladies - hope good weekends have been had by all!

Welcome to newcomers, and hugs to anyone in need (although, scanning through the last few pages - I couldn't find any hugs needed).

I've got a little girl with a very angry-red sore bottom and tupence!
She's never suffered nappy rash before - so i'm not sure if it's teething related, or because I got some Somerfield baby wipes as i'd ran out before I managed to get to Asda for my bargain pampers ones.
I've just used one to take my make up off, and they are very scented!

I sent OH out today to Boots to get something for nappy rash, and he came back with Bepanthen.
From reading the box, this seems to be more of a prevention than a cure? Does anyone know?

And, any other ideas to help her bottom would be gratefully received. :D

(We kept her nappy off for a couple of hours this morning to get some air to her bum, and have been using sudocrem until we got the Bepanthen).

    Hi 3,

My LO's first lot of nappy rash was teething related. Although i had just bougtht some new nappies so thought that was the problem, but no.

I ended up using the cream that Sami recommended that started with 'M' and comes in a yellow box and the cream is yellow in colour. great stuff!!! you don't need a lot of it either.

will try and find the name .. metanium

    xx

3 - I'd just use the sudacrem it's 2nd only to morhulin, I don't rate bepanthen at all.
if it was the wipe it'll be gone in the morning (assuming you've now binned them!)

Sugar I'd have killed him and kicked him out! O the other way round, but then anyone who knows me knows not to drink too much in my home anyway, I'm very vomit-phobic, I'm shaking just reading that!

Amber is very very unsettled today (has been for the past few days), shes in my arms looking baleful occasionally dozing to wake up with a wail. Not like her at all. Bath didnt go too well, she liked it for 5 secs then wanted out. DH came and got her and fed her so I could get washed. Which I did then had a dizzy turn when I got out and ended up on my knees in the hall dripping water everywhere wondering how I got there and why the bedroom door was swinging side to side.

Oh and to top it off, my freezer somehow got switched off so tomorrow will be spent binning everything. Not much in it, some breaded fish and some chicken thingies but there is 2 unopened tubs of ice cream and a pack of choc ices!!!! Gutted! And it's warm so can't be used at all.
  • Oh Tia Hope your ok hun (((((hugs))))) and (((((hugs))))) for Amber

"She thinks it's a great idea," a source explained. "She loves being pregnant and fussed over. And although she isn't really a hands-on mum, she loves babies. She has plenty of people round her to help and thinks it will be lovely to have another little one.
"She decided to have another baby just a few weeks after she was filmed doing cocaine. Mark said no at first but he's come round. They've been through such a rocky time he wasn't even sure if he wanted to stay married to her.

    says it all really
