    Welcome :hello:

    Awesome birthday ;)

Tell us more about you and yours:)

Heehee! Well..! I hate talking about myself haha, I'm Vonnie, 27, GSOH, 4 children (2 boys aged 8 & 3, 2 girls aged 2 and 4 months), I'm a manager in a government department and go back to work in January (woe is me).
Hi blottedcopybook, well if you've managed 16m of bf, the i am entirely in your following, for both of mine i manged 2wks due to tongue tie, jaundiace, pnd and reflux and for the other bleeding nips, pnd and reflux. I sincerely regret it now but at the time it was the best i could do. 16m to me is a very long time. Wow. super breast feeding mummy, congrats....

Oh! No, only 4.5 months so far for me. It's just been 16 months since I last had a period! Managing 2 weeks with all those issues is a major success, well done you! We've really been blessed with a straightforward breastfeeding relationship this time and long may it bloody last!

Heya ladies/gents hope you don't mind me popping in from the pregnancy thread, I was just wondering if any of you use re usable wipes? OH has agreed we can give these a go, am debating do I use ready made ones or should I be really MSE and make my own. I like the look of the Cheeky Wipes hasd any one used these? Also any tips would be fab, thanks xx

I made my own using a pack of ikea's face flannels - sewed them onto fleece and bought a spray bottle from my local Sally's to make a spray with. They are probably too big for their purpose if I'm honest but I'm clumsy and have giant hands so they suit me :rotfl: All in, the materials probably cost as much as two packs of wipes so no harm no foul..?

Evening ladies - hope good weekends have been had by all!

Welcome to newcomers, and hugs to anyone in need (although, scanning through the last few pages - I couldn't find any hugs needed).

I've got a little girl with a very angry-red sore bottom and tupence!
She's never suffered nappy rash before - so i'm not sure if it's teething related, or because I got some Somerfield baby wipes as i'd ran out before I managed to get to Asda for my bargain pampers ones.
I've just used one to take my make up off, and they are very scented!

I sent OH out today to Boots to get something for nappy rash, and he came back with Bepanthen.
From reading the box, this seems to be more of a prevention than a cure? Does anyone know?

And, any other ideas to help her bottom would be gratefully received. :D

(We kept her nappy off for a couple of hours this morning to get some air to her bum, and have been using sudocrem until we got the Bepanthen).

3onitwasy -- i used Bepanthen just last week on Katies bum and it seemed to help it lots!! also when i bathed her i didnt put any bubbles in, just a bit of salt to help to heal it a bit.
