November, aged six months as normal. The specialists at Notts said we'd discuss it next time we see them but we haven't got the next appointment through yet. Depends what's happening then as to whether we might need at avoid certain foods etc.0 -
SM i've got something like this
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4228826/Trail/searchtext%3ESLOW+COOKER.htm
2 adults 2 toddlers, but i often have parents or friends round for dinner, or if not i freeze portions. Means i cook less etc and i only have pull a chinese takeaway plastic tub out of the freezer to defrost, than start from scratch every night. I;d go bigger the better if you have the freezer space.
Anyway i gotta go, hubbie is making noises about joining him on the sofa, rather than being on the laptop (and rightly so ...... I guess......lol) xxx0 -

SM harking back a bit but hey ho...
freezing pots can be pretty much anything, for early days of the gov recommended method ice cubes trays are good - just wait until frozen then pop in to food bags.
next stage any old pot will do from the pound shop or something.
apple n pear is sweet enough steamed/stewed on its own I never found them tart esp when cooked
ham hock I'd avoid until 9mths ish and keep to no more than 3 meals a week (that's what my HV suggested for anything made with oxo cubes when i asked)
incidentally I no longer use salty oxo cubes I use Kallo Organic ones that are very low salt (obv you could make ur own stock) boots do 'baby stock cubes' and cow n gate make sachets of stock too not sure about them as not checked the labels on them0 -
boots do baby stock cubes ....... cheers for all that info x
