benjamin can stand without hands??? when did this happen????

    he is super baby

    :j:j:j

He is a little b00ger!!! He needs his hands for more important things like studying his fingers in the sky (again ) so propped himself against the sofa with his tummy and kept doing little bumpy motions so he was standing a little bit. He wasn't proper standing like baby MacSmiler....yet

He was practically proper swimming though!! Can you sew a 1m badge on a huggies swim nappy???

she was absolutely fine my MIL said which does not surprise me as she is always good when i am not there :D

as for the eating, had a good day yesterday, but today she wasn't brilliant with breakfast, was okay with lunch MIL says but dinner not so good again. she seems to have on off days for some reason

    xx

Will LO be with your MIL when you're back properly? (but that's not for a while yet.. is it?) Any more KIT days planned? :)
  • Wow, Benjamin! :j. And glad your Mummy has found you a wonderful CM :A.

Jamie has eventually taken an interest in his walker and took a few steps yesterday :D.

ah but if she has two so close together, they are probably very good at amusing themselves together rather than taking up all their mummys time and will leave her more free than a CM with just one child to look after benjamin ;) and the 3yo will be going to nursery a few hours a week, and reception year at school soon enough! i'm glad you found someone you feel you can trust, it makes you feel so much more positive about the whole going back thing doesnt it?

They play really nicely together and they LOVED Benjamin!! Practically buried him in baby toys that they had been asking to get out all morning (we went at 11am!!). Benjamin adored them too and climbed up on the little one so he was standing in front of her and they put their little heads together looking into each others eyes *melting heart*
And the eldest cried when Benjamin left!

They both go to nursery 5 days a week til 12. So Benjamin would be 1-on-1 every morning :D

She is Dutch and she asked me if I would mind her talking to him in her language a little and him watching Dutch Elmo cartoons!
She grows veggies in her garden, gets the kids involved and cooks from scratch, no jars and tins, just like me :)
And, last of all, she would never even think to call a dummy a 'diddy' which they all do around here and it makes me wince :rotfl:

yay for swimmer benjamin.... you might not be loving it soooo much if he wants to seriously train and you are taking him to the pool for training at 5am every day :-) ...just always remember the swimmers back home (keiren perkins/ian thorpe/and others) thankiing their parents for all the effort they went to for their training.

work was good, but i want the best of both worlds, which we all know is impossible
